Welcome to Over-Booked, where I share my latest and greatest book acquisitions! There is a new blog hosting Stacking the Shelves, so do check out Reading Reality for more information!
I know we still have one more week of October, but I’m sharing my October book haul today anyway! Most of these won’t be released until next year, but I do have a couple of October/November releases that I’ll try to squeeze in.
Books in the mail for review:

Villain Edit by Rosie Danan. This is a December release, so I’ll be reading it this year, and I’m looking forward to it a lot! I mean, don’t we need more vampire stories? Big thanks to Berkely for the review copy:-)
A Deadly Blooming by Daphne Fama. I am sooo excited to have a copy of Fama’s next book. I absolutely loved House of Monstrous Women, so I have high hopes for this one. Thank you Berkley:-)
Love, Witches and Wahala by Christine Cowan. This is a November release so I will be reading it soon. I love the sound of this cozy fantasy romance, about a Nigerian witch and an ancient curse. Big thanks to Orbit Books!
Dead New World by Lin Darrow. This is described as cozy sci-fi, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect, since it comes out next month, which is Sci-Fi Month! Big thanks to Podium Publishing for the review copy.
The Timefarers by Jennifer Robson. I have never read this author before, but I know she writes historical fiction. This is a story about a secret society of time travelers, and I’m very excited to read it:-) Thank you to Angela for the ARC!
Savage Lake by Nick Medina. I believe this is already out, so I need to squeeze it in soon, but it sounds so good. A mother and her teenaged son return to the house she grew up in, but she has to face horrific memories. Thank you Berkely!
Big thanks to Tordotcom for a beautiful finished copy of The Killing of a Chestnut Tree by Oliver K. Langmead, which I loved:-)
Also thanks to Tor for a finished copy of The Thrice-Bound Fool by Christopher Buehlman, which I still haven’t read but I hope to soon.
Digital books for review:
Just a few new NetGalley books this month, I’m doing better!
One of my favorite series is Assassins Anonymous by Rob Hart, and book #4 City of Killers comes out next June. It seems so far away!
The Yule Day Slaughter by Craig DiLouie is another sequel I’m excited for, after The Summer Fun Massacre, and it comes out next month, so I won’t have long to wait!
Finally, I’m really looking forward to If You Think You’re Lonely Now by Gus Moreno. I have heard lots of good things about his previous book, This Thing Between Us.
With thanks to G.P. Putnam’s Sons and Run For It:-D

Great haul. I have discovered What not and there is always some on there running auctions for new hardbacks which I often now get at maybe like 5-10 dollars per book. It can be dangerous but worth it. LOL. If you want, I can send you a referral link to check it out…
