Books in the mail for review:
I have to start off with Off the Reservation by Stephen Graham Jones, a book I’ve been hoping to get and it finally arrived! This is a mid-October release so I will be starting it very soon. Huge thanks to Saga Press!
Equally exciting is John Scalzi’s upcoming book Monsters of Ohio. This releases in November so it will be a month or so before I get to it, but I’m very excited:-) Thank you Tor!
Also from Tor, yet another exciting release, House Haunters by K.C. Jones. Apparently there is a Corgi sidekick named Fish Stick, although I cannot confirm the fate of the dog yet. (I am a little worried because the dog does die in Jones’ Black Tide) Still, I’m looking forward to it!
I just featured Nobody Panic! by C.J. Vick in a recent Future Fiction post, and now I’m thrilled to have a review copy, courtesy of Sourcebooks Landmark. This isn’t out until next April, so I have a bit of a wait.
With thanks to Blackstone Publishing, I’m very happy to have a copy of Milk, Bread, Teeth by Amy Twigg. This sounds fantastic, and it’s also a 2027 release so I’ll be reviewing it in January.
And big thanks to Run For It/Orbit for a copy of Cold Empty Rooms by Andy Marino. I really enjoyed Marino’s The Swarm a couple of years ago, so I’m exited he has a new release, although I’m worried about the mixed reviews on Goodreads. This comes out in November so I’ll be reading it soon.
Hugs to Sharon Lynn Fisher for sending a copy of her upcoming historical fantasy romance Bane Bloom! I have already reviewed this and loved it:-)

The Two of Us at the End of the World by C.A. Fletcher. This is already out so clearly I’m behind, but I definitely plan to read it soon. Thank you Orbit!
The Memory of Borrowed Books by Meg Anderson sounds perfect for book and library lovers, and I can’t wait to dive in. Thank you to Sourcebooks Landmark for the review copy:-)
Finally, I received The Unhaunting by Micaiah Johnson courtesy of G.P. Putnam’s Sons. This comes out next Tuesday, so I might be late reading it, but it sounds like a unique take on the haunted house trope.
Digital books for review:
Just a few digital books this month! Starting with A Deadly Blooming by Daphne Fama. I’m beyond excited to read more by this talented author.
Stephanie Burgis is the best, and she always sends me copies of her self published books. I’m so excited to read more of her Lady & Lord Riven series, and A Waltz of Sinister Import is the final book in the series. This comes out in a couple of weeks and I can’t wait to read it:-)
Villain Edit by Rosie Danan. This sounds fantastic: a vampire story involving a TV producer and a reality TV show. I mean come on!
