Overall, June was an excellent month for books. I only had one book I didn’t really like, but everything else was 4 stars or above. And I had two 5 star reads, which rarely happens! If I had to pick the best book of June, it would have to be The Children. Here are all the books I reviewed last month, with links to my reviews if you missed them:

You definitely had a great month!
Looks like you had a pretty good reading month! I’ve read The Sun Down Motel from your list and really enjoyed it.
Its definitely a shame that Headlights was a letdown but it looks like a fabulous reading month other than that. I simply cannot wait to get to The Children with its new favourite potential and its lovely seeing all but one of your reads receiving at least four stars.
That was a good month of reading! I have Three Hitmen and a Baby on hold at my library and cannot wait for it to come in. I’m loving that series. 😀 Wishing you a happy 4th of July!
I’m glad you had a nice reading month!
I always love seeing these monthly wrap-ups where you had an overwhelmingly positive reading experience. There are several books here I’d love to try. My favorite read of the month was Japanese Gothic by Kylie Lee Baker, it really worked for me.
Aside from the one book you didn’t end up liking you had a great reading month! TWO 5 star reads is amazing!
Looks like you had a good reading month!
Thats some lovely reading. Shame about the CJ Leede book but I still want to give it a try and forewarned, etc, etc…
Lynn 😀
You had a great reading month apart from the one book that didn’t quite work out.
The Children is also a fame favourite for me as well.
Lynn 😀
Hey, for some reason my comments aren’t registering. This could be my third comment or maybe it will disappear! Hopefully this works though and if there are duplicates please delete.
You had a great month and the Children is definitely a stand out for me as well.
I see all three comments, very weird. Sorry Lynn. WP is so weird!
Lots of good books! I’ve got to get caught up on your reviews!
Thanks Lisa!
Oooh, I missed your five-star review for The Sixth Nik–that makes me excited since I’ll be reading it soon, probably! Looks like a pretty good month overall!
It was a good month! I’ll be curious to hear what you think of The Sixth Nik:-)
My favorite book of June was The Calamity Club!
I really want to read it!
Two five-star reads in a month is really good! I rarely give out 5 stars, so I’d be shocked if that happened to me in one month haha!
Two is surprising for me too!
Wow, that’s a really high average star count! I love when I have months with lots of books I love. Though, it does make it harder to pick a favorite for the month!
