I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog.

Today I’m combining the Top Ten Tuesday prompt with Summer of Horror, because why not! I have scoured the book covers of horror books I’ve read in the last few years and come up with fifteen whose title font has a “handwritten” style. Take a look (in no particular order):

I like the horror theme today! I haven’t read any of these but I was just looking at This Delicious Death recently.
Saw your comment and had to hop on and tell you how much I enjoyed This Delicious Death! Definitely give it a try.
What a fun topic but I can’t believe I’ve only ready two. I did three – Cackle, Feral Creatures and This Delicious Death. At least I enjoyed them all!
Not ten but fifteen ? Overachiever Tammy!
I love the font for Cackle!
Love these! Cackle and Such Sharp Teeth are such great books. I couldn’t stick to just 10 today either!
I need to go check out the TTT topics, because this is one I now want to do, but will be doing on the wrong date, lol. Awesome covers picked here!
Handwritten fonts seem pretty common on horror books, thanks for sharing your #TTT
I can’t believe you found so many, even after making it more specific! These covers are gorgeous!
Nice combo of themes.
Crafting for Sinners had such a good cover!
Most of these are on my TBR. I’ve been trying to get my hands on the audio for Heads Will Roll, but might have to read a physical copy of that one. Great picks this week!
Ive been reading more horror over the last year but have still only read one of these. That was The Bad Ones and I utterly adored it. That last cover design is great for horror, it kind of makes me uneasy. And I love the cover for Feral Creatures too.
Ahhh, these are nice choices. I had trouble finding ones that genuinely looked like handwriting and not just a font pretending not-very-hard, ahaha.
You found lots of good choices for this week’s TTT!
I’ve read four of these and we featured one of the same titles and one of the same authors.
Great selection and some of these I would love to get to.
Lynn 😀
Love the cover of the Bad Ones and And Then I Woke Up is one of my favs.
And as with handwriting there’s a whole range of handwriting styles. 🙂
