Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
I had a lovely Christmas with my hubby and kids, and yes, we made the lobster mac ‘n cheese and it was really good. Here’s the recipe if you want to give it a go:-) I hope everyone who celebrated the holidays had a fun, peaceful time. Now I have the whole week off work, and I can’t wait to have lots of time to read, blog and get some Netflix and Hulu time in. I’m planning on watching Nightbitch this week, has anyone seen it yet?
My kids wanted to watch Die Hard on Christmas Eve, and that was so much fun. I haven’t seen that movie in years! It’s pretty dated, but it was fun poking fun of Bruce Willis’s over-acting. (Actually, everyone over-acts in Die Hard, lol.) And I loved seeing Alan Rickman in one of his earlier movies.
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I’m posting my first review of 2025 on Friday! Stop by to read my thoughts on Witchcraft For Wayward Girls. I’m still reading Wake Up and Open Your Eyes, which is turning out to be a rather slow read for me. So I took a break and started All the Water in the World, which I’m loving. After I finish those two, I’ll probably pick up The Way Up is Death.
Other posts this week:
Monday I’m sharing the results of my 2024 Reading Challenges; Tuesday is a big day, I’m finally sharing my favorite books of 2024! Wednesday is Future Fiction, with three new covers/books; and stop by on Thursday when I share What’s On My Plate for January.
