April 2024 Reading Wrap-Up

April came and went in the blink of an eye! It was also a month where I sometimes struggled to focus, and I found myself starting and putting books down right and left. Because of that, I didn’t finish as many books as I wanted to, but the books I did read were all excellent! I didn’t rate anything under four stars, so I’ll call that a win. Here are the books I reviewed this month, and the titles are linked to my reviews if you missed them:

The Redemption of Morgan Bright by Chris Panatier

First Light by Liz Kerin

Ghost Station by S.A. Barnes

Calypso by Oliver K. Langmead

The Gathering by C.J. Tudor

The Devil and Mrs. Davenport by Paulette Kennedy

Bless Your Heart by Lindy Ryan

Did you read any of these? What was your favorite book of April?

  1. I’m sorry you found yourself putting a few books down but it looks like the ones that you did read were fantastic. Hopefully you’ll find lots more of 4 and 5 star books next month too.

I’m learning to put books down as soon as I notice I’m not enjoying them. And then sometimes I do pick them back up!

  2. I’d have to reread your reviews to refresh my memory of which stories I’d most like to read, but based on your ratings combined with the covers I’m most drawn to The Gathering and Ghost Station. Glad to see these were all 4+ stars.
