I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
Today’s prompt is “Nature on the Cover,” and since I’ve been noticing a lot of covers with moths, bees and butterflies on them, I thought I’d focus on those covers. Most of these haven’t been released yet, but a few are already out in the world. Take a look:
I’ve always loved luna moths so Wildwood Whispers stood out for me.
Me too, and they make interesting covers:-)
We have the cover of Weyward in common today and The Honey Witch’s cover is so stunning too! 😀

Weyward is still one of my favorite covers:-)
I’m not familiar with most of these but I’d love to try some of them!
A bunch of them definitely sound good:-)
What an absolutely gorgeous selection. And they all look so stunning grouped together.

I love the prompt, there is so much to choose from:-)
These are great! I love how they go from really floral and pretty (like Honey Witch) to creepy horror (like The Queen or Madness)! I guess there’s a lot you can do with moths etc 🙂
Ha ha they are sort of all over the place!
I like this trend!
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Me too:-)
Honey Witch has a cool cover.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It’s so pretty:-)
I had to go back and look for the bees on The Honey Witch, but the blue butterflies on that cover stood out right away. I hope the book is an enjoyable as that cover! I’m looking forward to that one.

I didn’t even notice the blue butterflies, lol.
Nice prompt, and there’s a suprising amount of choice! They’re all so pretty.
Yes, plenty to choose from, no matter what aspect of nature you choose:-)
I just got a physical copy of The Honey and the Witch last week!
You’re so lucky! It’s such a gorgeous cover.
LOVE that The Honey Witch Cover

I think so:-)
There do seem to be a lot of “bug” covers out there right now, don’t there? I’m not a fan of anything creepy/crawly, so I don’t know what to think of these kinds of covers! I did a similar twist on the topic today, though.
Happy TTT

I’m not a fan in real life but I don’t mind them on book:-)
You’re right; The Honey Witch is such a beautiful book! I hope you enjoy reading all of these.

I love them too.
Hi! I am leaving some comments to let other bloggers know, in cae they missed the news articles, that WordPress is selling the content of our blog posts to AI companies to train their models, and if you don’t want them to, you need to go into your settings to opt out. They opt you in automatically and have started sending the AI companies content.
Thanks Briana!
I love butterflies and they seem to be popular to use on covers in all genres. Chad Lutzke has a wicked one on his book Bruises On A Butterfly.

I’ve noticed it too, lots of winged insects everywhere:-)
Ooh, The Honey Witch looks so pretty! And now I’m going to have to look that up, since the title makes me think of Robin McKinley’s Chalice, kinda.
The first four are especially very pretty.
