Buffy’s Corner 2/19/23 – Looking at the Week Ahead

Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D

I’m in the middle of a long, four-day weekend and getting lots of reading done. I’m also binge watching True Blood and generally being lazy, lol. The tree in the photo at the end of this post is right outside our living room, and I love seeing buds starting to emerge. That means Spring is coming, right? 😉

Upcoming reads & reviews:

On a whim, I decided to start Weyward, not realizing the release date had been pushed back to March. Oops. Well, I guess I’m a bit ahead for next month! Look for my review tomorrow. I’m hoping to knock out two short books over the long weekend, Sister, Maiden, Monster and The Eidolon. After that, I’m really scrambling because you guys, it’s already the end of February next week! The Writing Retreat might end up being a March review, but I’m still excited to read it.

Other posts this week:

Tuesday I’m very excited to be posting another round up of 2023 horror releases. Don’t miss 28 More Horror Books to Read in 2023! Wednesday I have three exciting cover reveals to share on Future Fiction; and the rest of the week? I’m honestly not sure yet. Maybe a Friday Face-Off, maybe a book haul post on Saturday:-)

In case you missed:

My posts from last week:

World Running Down by Al Hess – Review 4.5/5 stars

The Friday Face-Off: Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes

The Crane Husband by Kelly Barnhill – Review 5/5 stars

  1. Oh I love the bird photo so much! How beautiful, and what a little cutie. 😀 It’s warmer here today (mid-60s) and I just came in from some nice outdoors time with the kiddo, it was wonderful. Good luck with your reading this week! I can’t believe February is almost over!
