Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
The hubby hasn’t taken any new photos in weeks, so today I’m featuring a photo by my oldest child who is a budding photographer! Check it out at the end:-) I hope everyone is doing well and has a great week:-D
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I’m aiming for three reviews this week. Tomorrow, look for my review of Station Eternity. Also this week I’ll be reviewing Lute and (hopefully) Dark Room Etiquette. Next up will definitely be Little Eve!
Other posts this week:
I’m focusing on reviews this week, so I’ll probably just post my usual Future Fiction on Wednesday and The Friday Face-Off (witches!). I may do a fun tag I saw this past week, we’ll see if I have time:-)
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
Read an Excerpt from Station Eternity by Mur Lafferty
Most Anticipated Books of 2022 – Fourth Quarter
Ghost Eaters by Clay McLeod Chapman – Review 4.5/5 stars

You know I can’t wait for your Dark Room Etiquette!!! And I am stressed too. What if you didn’t like it??? LOL
I’m enjoying it so far! I need to hurry up and finish so I can post a review this week.
Duncan’s photo is so cool!
Thanks Priscilla!
I am so curious to hear what you think of Station Eternity, to be honest I am still struggling through that one, it’s just weird. That pic is cool!
Once I got to the middle of Station Eternity, things turned around for me:-) And yes, it’s still weird even though I enjoyed it.
Looking forward to Station Eternity. I’m enjoying reading reviews for it too because it seems like it’s getting different reactions from different people- maybe a bit of a mixed bag consensus, or maybe that’s just what I’m seeing. I love the premise though, can’t wait to try it myself.,
Love the pic! Great job!!!
It’s not a perfect book, and I had some issues. But overall I thought it was great:-)
Looking forward to your review of Station Eternity!
I enjoyed it a lot!
The tortoise looks like he’s tired and just wants to be left alone. But it’s a great picture, lol! I need to get out and read your reviews! Found I can’t get to your blog on school wifi for some reason, so when I’ve fit in some comment time at work this week, I need to make sure I get to yours at home! Have a good week!
Ha ha he does look tired! He’s probably very old:-)
Great photo! Talent must run in the family
Can’t wait to read your review of Station Eternity — perhaps I can be persuaded to give it another try. I’m hoping to start Lute today or tomorrow, hope you enjoyed it. Have a great week!
I did like Lute but parts didn’t work for me. I’m so curious to compare notes with other readers!
I look forward to your reviews as they are always detailed without being spoilery somehow. Oh I don’t know if I remembered to ever say but I looked up Netgalley pencils after you mentioned it. I’d never heard of it. I have 9.
Thanks Anne! Yeah, love those pencils:-)
Three reviews in a week??? You’re a madwoman lol
Also either I read this wrong, or your eldest child is a tortoise…
LOL my eldest child took a PHOTO of a tortoise. Maybe I need to reread what I wrote;-)
Looking forward to your Little Eve review. I still haven’t read anything by Catriona Ward yet but I do like the sound of this one.
Love the photo
I’m looking forward to your reviews, especially the one for Lute! Also, I love the turtle picture. One of my favorite animals!
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Little Eve. Duncan’s photo is really cool too. I love that your whole family is so creative!
I think you’ll like Little Eve. It’s very dark, packed with atmosphere and the story centres around a cult. It’s one of those books that it’s difficult to tear your eyes away from.

I know the feeling of not having photographed anything recently. Just got back from a trip to Massachusetts to help get my mother to a family reunion and spend some time with relatives that wouldn’t make the reunion. It wasn’t a photography trip and was jam packed so I didn’t get much photography done. Maybe this weekend I’ll get back out with the camera. I hope Duncan keeps at it because that’s a fantastic portrait of the tortoise. And of course I’m always looking forward to whatever new work Moses creates. Have I mentioned how I also love reading your posts?
I need to step up my reviewing, I have a bunch of books read but not written up yet. Lute is one of them!
