Buffy’s Corner 9/18/22 – Looking at the Week Ahead

Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D

Hope everyone is well! Not much new here, except our weather has improved drastically, so life is better because I don’t have to run the A/C 24/7. Also it’s ridiculously expensive so my bank account is also thankful:-)

Upcoming reads & reviews:

It was a pretty good reading week! I’ll have reviews up this week for Always the First to Die and Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke. I’m currently reading Leech and after that, I’ll probably read Full Immersion in preparation for my blog tour stop on the 28th.

Other posts this week:

Hey, I’m doing another book tag this week! Stop by Tuesday to see which one:-) Wednesday I’ll share three new books on Future Fiction, and the Friday Face-Off is “coming of age.”

In case you missed:

My posts from last week:

A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson – Review 4.5/5 stars

Future Fiction #194

House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson – Review 3.5/5 stars

  1. It’s starting to warm up here, still only need fans but I think the a/c will go on soon.
I’m curious about Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke, just because of the title!

Wishing you a great reading week

  2. We don’t have A/C here but more and more people get them because of the very warm summers! But as you said, it costs a lot! I hope you’ll keep these cooler temperatures next week Tammy!

Thanks Anne! It’s harder for me to read during the week because of work, but this week I need to get through both books so I’m going to try extra hard:-)

  3. Just yesterday my father and I could hear a kingfisher around the wetlands where we were hiking, but we never did actually see it. They can be so fast sometimes, too, making them even more of a challenge to see. But when you do see them you realize quickly what a beautiful and sleek bird they are. Great photo from Moses!

It always boggles my mind that you can plan your books in advance! I’ve failed to read what was on my list twice this month so far and it’s only the third week in lol
