Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
My daughter has completed the European leg of her tour with Remi Wolf and had a fantastic time! The U.S. tour starts in two weeks so she has a bit of a rest. Hubby and I are going to see her show in L.A. on the 17th, I can’t wait! Otherwise, summer is still blazing down here, and work is kicking my ass, lol. Hope you guys are having a good weekend!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
It’s been a slow reading week, and my head has been all over the place. I did read and loved The Mother’s Wheel, and my review will be up on Tuesday, don’t miss it! I was hoping to finish and get a review of A Taste of Gold and Iron up this week, but it’s fairly slow, at least in the beginning, and I haven’t read much. I also picked up West of Hell as it’s fairly short, and I should have a review up tomorrow. After that, I’m tackling my September TBR! My first September read will probably be Gallows Hill.
Other posts this week:
After not posting much for the last two weeks, this week is crammed with stuff! Look for my August Wrap-Up on Wednesday, and I’ll probably double up and do a Future Fiction post as well. Thursday I’m featuring an excerpt from Lost in Time by A.G. Riddle, the Friday Face-Off is “brown cover,” and of course this week is September 1st so I’ll be sharing my September TBR on What’s On My Plate!
Looks like a great week is ahead. Happy reading! 😀

Thanks Stephanie:-) Hope you have a great week too.
I’m reading West of Hell, too. I’m interested to see what you think about it. The Tanager bird looks so intelligent.

My review will be up tomorrow:-)
Your daughter is having an amazing adventure!!!!
She is! And she’s learned so much. I love that she has this experience:-)
Glad your daughter had a great time on the tour and hope you guys have a great time going and seeing her and the group perform!
Have a great day and happy reading!
Thanks Stormi, we’re pretty excited:-)
I had a slow reading week as well. Mostly because I was reading a fantasy and I read those slower. I love hearing about your daughter’s exciting job! And of course love the bird picture, such pretty colors! I’m behind on reading reviews again thanks to the crazy first week of school too, you’ve got several I need to go read! Have a good week!

You have a great excuse to be behind!
These weeks are just flying by. Can’t keep up. 🙂 Love the tanager. These Costa Rican birds are completely new to me.
Me too! And that’s one reason Moses loved to go there, he gets “tired” of the same old birds here, lol.
I’m looking forward to reading your review of “A Taste of Gold and Iron.”

Hopefully I can finish it this week:-)
Wow that European leg went fast. You are busy but I’m glad you still get to read a bit. It’s heated up again here. I just keep telling myself it won’t last forever when it’s too hot to go walk much.

Exactly. Before we know it we’ll be complaining about the cold:-)
That’s awesome about your daughter! I bet you guys can’t wait to see her in LA. 🙂
Lost Children looks fun, I’ll have to go check that out.

It really is!
Glad to hear your daughter’s tour is going well. That’s so great that you’ll have a chance to see her perform when she’s back in L.A.
I hope you enjoy seeing the show on the 17th!
Haha, the beauty of being late to comment on this post is that I already know you’re having a good week.
Looking forward to your reviews.
Lynn 😀
