This week’s theme: Off the TBR
It’s been several weeks since I’ve done The Friday Face-Off, but I’m back this week for a fun theme! This was so easy, I’m picking a highly anticipated book from my TBR that just happens to have four different covers. Little Eve by Catriona Ward was first published in 2018 and is being rereleased by Tor Nightfire this October. Take a look at these covers:
Tor Nightfire, 2022 | Spanish edition, 2022
Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 2018 | Gollancz, 2021
I love this variety of covers, but I really love the first two the most. I like the NIghtfire cover a little more, but both are great.
They’re all fab, but I do like the Tor Nightfire cover the best.

It’s a good one for sure:-)
The top two are my favorites too!
They are fantastic, right?
I prefer the Spanish cover, just the good amount of spookiness for me, lol. By the way, I’ll wait to have your verdict on this one, compared t her previous book.

I can’t wait to read it. I wasn’t that crazy about her last book so we’ll see…
My feelings match yours on these covers with the Nightfire being my favorite.
They’re both great covers, right?
I like the Tor and then Spanish Edition.
Good choices:-)
Same as you but Nightfire edition is lovely, especially with the reflection!!

I agree, Lashaan, I love the Nightfire cover as well:-)

Yes they do all have that vibe:-)
This is so hard to choose because there are elements in each I love but for the overall design I love the Nightfire, too. I am so excited to read this one. She has been such a busy writer!
Yes she has! I can’t wait to read it as well:-)
They all have great vibes, but I am with you, Nightfire FTW!

Fantastic choice. I read this book when it was first released. She’s such a talented author. The two words that immediately sprang to mind about this story were ‘haunting and atmospheric’.
