Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
I’m in the middle of a nice, long four day weekend, and loving every second of it! I know I’ll suffer when I go back to work on Tuesday, because missing even one day of work means a lot of catching up, but I don’t care. Plus, the weather here is lovely and cool with bursts of sunshine. Perfect:-)
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I’m finishing up some May books this week and then jumping into June. Tomorrow look for my review of Glitterati, which was fabulous! Seriously, if you are looking for a unique writer you can’t go wrong with any of Oliver Langmead’s books. I’m currently reading Black Tide and I hope to get a review up later this week. I’m also starting Ordinary Monsters for a blog tour in a couple of weeks, and maybe next, A Mirror Mended?
Other posts this week:
On Tuesday, it’s my May wrap-up, where I’ll be sharing the books I read in May and wrapping up Wyrd & Wonder as well. I’m also hosting a fantasy giveaway, so do stop by! Wednesday is the first of the month, so don’t miss What’s On My Plate. It’s also Future Fiction, so I may have to double up that day. The Friday Face-Off is “under the sea,” and check in Saturday for a book haul post!
In case you missed:

Thanks Priscilla!
Ordinary monsters sounds interesting.
So far it’s pretty good:-)
Hope you get to the books you wanted too this week.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Stormi
Thanks Stormi, you too!
Trying to get through Discord of the Gods this week….these books always take me a while, and it’s going to take me longer because life is just hectic right now!

It’s frustrating when you don’t have time to read, right?
I really enjoyed Black Tide so look forward to seeing what you make of it. Perhaps even more so because I went into it a little reluctantly. It’s a crazy story and I would love more.
Lynn 😀
Sorry to butt in but I saw this comment and am excited for this one- I had high hopes for Black Tide so if it’s a little bonkers even better. 🙂
I’m reading it now and it’s sooo good!
I’m about 75 pages in and it’s pretty scary!
So glad to hear you’re enjoying your weekend and that the weather is perfect for it. It’s nice enjoying things enough to put off thoughts of work. It’ll still be there when we return, no need to rush it, right? 🙂 And I love that family of geese. Goslings can be very cute. Interesting how the parent and at least 2 of the goslings have their foot up in the same position. I like it!
I noticed that too, the way they are almost in step:-)
I love the feel of a holiday weekend, staying home, reading, yard work and bbq. I hope you enjoy your chance to relax.

It’s the best!
Long weekends are the best. And great picture! I love this time of year when all the baby geese and whatnot are out. 🙂
Spring is great for baby animals:-)
Baby geese are called goslings??! That’s SO cute!

Ha ha yes! Aren’t they adorable?
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the long weekend. I’m the same way. I know work will be awful tomorrow but I’m so happy to have a nice long break.
Work was torture today, lol.
Yikes June is going to be pretty insane, isn’t it? 😀
I hope you enjoyed your long weekend Tammy! Also that family of ducks is so sweet!
