This week’s theme: Sealed with a kiss – lips
This week I found a book with lips on the cover, and also the word “lips” in the title. Lips Touch by Laini Taylor is a book I read before I started blogging. I remember loving it because it was unexpectedly dark. Here are the covers I found:
U.S. hardcover edition 2009 | UK edition 2013
Italian edition 2011 | U.S. paperback 2011
German edition 2011 | Nook cover
I’m going with the U.S. hardcover edition as my favorite, mostly because I own this one and I do think it’s the best of the bunch. There’s something about photos of lips that bugs me, ha ha. I much prefer lips as artwork!
I like the US hardcover edition, too, but as far as covers go, the UK edition is really cool even though it doesn’t have lips at all.

I agree, it’s moody and really matches one of the stories:-)
Ah, this is a great find, both word and visual!!
I didn’t even think of the word, but I just checked, I never read a book with the word lip in the title.
Yes, the first cover has an awesome style. It’s also interesting to see the variation in the titles, the kiss because immortal or forbidden!

This might be the only book I’ve read with the word “lip” in the title;-)
Great pick for this week!
Thanks Kristi!
I’m kinda liking the Nook cover. It’s different from the authors but I like it!
It’s definitely the most different!
As soon as I made my post with last week’s topic, I thought of this book! This is the perfect choice for this week. I agree, the US edition is really the most eye-catching to me, and it’s also the edition I own. I find some weirdly compelling about the UK edition, haha, but it’s also the most different out of them all! That Nook cover doesn’t feel like it quite fits to me.

I agree, I actually like the UK edition, the forbidden fairy fruit:-)
I’ve never heard of this one. I think I’ll pick the Italian version as my favorite, and maybe the UK as my second favorite. Interesting range for this one.
The covers are definitely all over the place. I like the Italian edition as well:-)
The UK edition is my favorite!
The UK edition is different, I love it too:-)
I am literally kicking myself. I have this book and it’s absolutely beautiful – I was saying how tough this week was and there was this beauty sat on my shelves. *headdesk*
Lynn 😀
Ha ha the only reason I remembered it is that I did a search for the word “Lips” in my media gallery and it popped up.
I am with you. I definitely prefer the U.S. hardcover edition over the others. I hope you have a great weekend, Tammy!

Thanks Wendy!
I agree with you here. Beautiful artwork and eye catching.
It’s definitely the best of the bunch:-)
This one’s perfect for the theme! I like your choice as well, the art style is gorgeous.
