I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
It turns out there are lots of books with a character’s name in the title, so coming up with this list was easy! In fact I’m going overboard and listing 18 books that I’ve read in the last few of years. I’ve listed these in alphabetical order by the name of the character, take a look:
A few more and you might have an A-Z of character names in titles. 🙂
Darn it all Todd, that would have been a fabulous idea Wish I’d thought of it! But it is time to do an A to Z list, I haven’t done one in a while.
I’m not doing the topic on my blog this week but The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue came to my mind too when I saw it!

It’s one of the first ones I thought of:-)
Interesting list. A few titles I’d add would be Jane Eyre, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Julie and the Wolves and David Copperfield.

Thanks for visiting!
Fun! I’ve read five of these, and somehow didn’t think to include any in my list today! (Actually, I meant to include Addie LaRue, but it slipped my mind by the time I actually put my post together…)
There are so many it’s hard to get all of them:-)
I’ve heard good things about Binti!

Binti was really good, I haven’t read the whole series but it’s pretty popular.
Yay, Senlin!

So good, right?
I don’t know why, but I had a hard time with this topic. I’m not sure I could have listed ten titles, let alone twenty that I’ve read that fit the prompt! Not surprisingly, I haven’t read any of these 🙂
Happy TTT!

I guess I got lucky and I just read a lot of books with names in the titles:-)
You nailed it!
Ha ha thanks Sophie!
Cool challenge! I recently read McHardy’s Neal (extreme, not for everyone), and Komor’s The Radiator Boy and the Holly Country. “The Radiator Boy” counts as the character’s name because the poor kid never had a proper name.

Aw poor kid…
Very cool and I actually haven’t seen many of these on other posts either so a unique list. 🙂
There are so many character titles out there, it’s crazy!
Neat tat you put them in alphabetical order.
I have only read Binti and Mr Penumbra.
Here is my list.
Same here, I found a lot, so just chose the last 10 I have read, I have one by a common author.

I have a thing for order, I guess:-)
So many books here that I still want to read, especially The Book of Koli and Addie LaRue.

Both so good, but very different:-)
Loved Addie LaRue & Doors Of January, both are such stunning reads. Don’t think I’ve read any books with characters in the title recently but there have been plenty in the past.

The list could go on forever–there are so many! How Rory Thorne Destroyed the Multiverse was a fun read. The Ten Thousand Doors of January is one of my favorites. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and The Book of Koli are both books I am looking forward to reading. This is a great list, Tammy! Thank you for sharing.

I really enjoyed Atlanta Burns. Lovely to see it on here.
