Over-Booked [149] – A Book Haul Post

Welcome to Over-Booked, where I share my latest and greatest book acquisitions! There is a new blog hosting Stacking the Shelves, so do check out Reading Reality for more information!

I’m getting some fantastic books already for 2022, take a look at my latest book haul:

Physical books for review:

I’m so excited for all these books! With big thanks to Tordotcom, I received copies of Elder Race by Adrian Tchaikovsky, which I loved, and Sisters of the Forsaken Stars by Lina Rather, which I know I’m going to love:-)

Thanks to Megan at MB Communications for a copy of Blood Scion by Deborah Falaye, which releases next March from Harper Teen. I’ve been hearing really good things and it sounds amazing!

And huge thanks to the team at Orbit Books for the next two books: The Bone Shard Emperor by Andrea Stewart and Engines of Empire by R.S. Ford. I’m hoping to read Stewart’s book this month, and Engines of Empire will be released next year.

Digital books for review:

I’m beyond excited to be approved for Emily St. John Mandel’s next book, Sea of Tranquility. She never disappoints!

And I’m also excited to read The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean. I recently featured it on Future Fiction, and even though it’s really far away (August ’22), I can’t wait!

Last year I really enjoyed The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood, and I’m looking forward to the sequel, The Thousand Eyes.

I just highlighted Stars and Bones by Gareth L. Powell, and I was excited to be approved for it on NetGalley!

Last but not least, I’ve read a couple of rave reviews for All of Us Villains by Amanda Foody and Christine Lynn Herman, so I broke down and downloaded a copy right before pub date, lol. Now I need to find time to read it.

Big thanks to Tor Books, Titan Books, Tor Teen and Knopf:-D

Do any of these sound good to you?
