The Friday Face-Off was created by Books by Proxy, where each week bloggers can showcase books with covers centered around a weekly theme. You can visit Lynn’s Books for a list of upcoming themes. Join in the fun each Friday by finding a book whose cover is based on the theme!
This week’s theme: A book with the word “star” in the title
I thought this prompt sounded familiar, and I then I realized I’d done a post like this for last year’s SciFi Month. So I thought, why not do it again, but use all new books? So this week I’m showcasing a bunch of recent or upcoming releases with the word “star” in the title. And of course, these are all science fiction titles, in honor of this special month:-D Enjoy!
Look at those gorgeous covers! I think the star theme might be my favourite!.
There are so many to choose from:-)
So many “star” books, and I haven’t read any of them.:-(

And this is only a small selection…
There really are some nice looking covers in this group. Let’s hope there’s also some entertaining reads. At the moment I’m most looking forward to Sisters of the Forsaken Stars.
You and me both!
I haven’t read any of them but they all look great!
There are some I still need to read:-)
I like a lot of these covers.
There are some good ones:-)
Powell’s Stars and Bones is the one I’m looking at more keenly, but there is a good list of… ahem… star-speckled books here! 😉

I just got Stars and Bones on NetGalley, very excited to read it:-)
Don’t they all look lovely together. I liked the star theme – it gave me more possibilities than I anticipated.
Lynn 😀
It was pretty easy to find “star” books:-)
So much color, so much awesome! There’s a lot here to like, I can’t choose 😀
Agreed! Lots of color overload;-)
Sisters of the Forsaken Stars – can’t wait for that one. I was just looking at Local star the other day too on amazon…
