Back in January (which feels like a really long time ago!) I predicted ten books that I thought would be five star reads, and today I’m going to show you how that went. This was actually a lot of fun, and even though all the books weren’t quite five star reads for me, I’m very happy to report that I read all ten books. Half of them ended up being five star reads, and the other half received four and a half stars, and I’m pretty happy about that overall!
Congrats on reading them all! You made great predictions!
Thanks Lauren!
Hey, you did pretty well, Tammy! I’m looking forward to your second half of 2021 predictions.:-)

Thanks Priscilla, the second half is very horror heavy;-)
Nicely done, both in reading them all and in predicting just how much you’d enjoy them. Now the pressure’s on for the second half. 🙂
Ooh the second half of the year has even more amazing books coming out. I’m not too worried;-)
Good job on reading all ten of them! No matter what that’s an accomplishment on its own. 😀

I agree, I wasn’t keeping track or anything until I decided to do a wrap up post, and I am happy that I read them all:-)
Lucky you to having read so many top notch reads.

I’m pretty careful what I choose to read:-)
Wow! You did great with this!
Thanks Kristi:-)
I love this! I definitely agree with 4 of 5 of your 5-star reads (I’d probably swap The Echo Wife for Ladies of the Secret Circus…). so many great books!
It’s been a great year!
Ahh amazing books!! It’s really amazing how close your predictions are!!
Thanks Ashmita, I love how many awesome books have been released already this year:-)
Still need to get around to reading Day Zero and The Blacktongue Thief but so glad to hear you loved them!
They are both so good, and very different:-)
Nice! The Cargill book and The Echo Wife both look excellent.
They are! I think you’d like both.
Wow, pretty impressive predictions! Project Hail Mary was a 5 star for me as well and I really want to read The Ladies of the Secret Circus.

I was pretty happy with this. And I’m surprised how many 5 and 4.5 star books I’ve read….
Nice job! And I’m glad you’ve read so many good books. I rate so few 4.5 and 5 stars these days, I would never be able to do this, lol! I guess I’m getting too picky.
Ha ha I feel like it’s a good year for me so far:-)
January sure does seem like an eternity ago, right? I’m almost done with Project Hail Mary, and I can see why you gave it five stars! I’m also looking forward to reading Whispers Down the Lane, and four and a half stars is just as good! Looking forward to picking that one up.
The year really is speeding by, how do we stop it?? ha ha
Holy wow, you read all ten of these and I am so impressed! I’m happy to read that you enjoyed them all.

This is a really fun idea! I need to try something like this. Although I tend to be kind of lenient at times with my rating, and if I love the story, I give it 5 stars even if it needs some work maybe. Glad you enjoyed all of these!

Okay that is impressive! Not only that you managed to read them ALL (which is impressive in its own right!) but they all managed to be really good! Happy for you! Also, I loved Project Hail Mary as well, and Echo Wife was really good too! I want to read Day Zero, and the Koli books, so happy to see them here too!

I also loved Project Hail Mary and The Fall of Koli – and I’m WISHING that I requested Day Zero… I look forward to seeing what you predict for your 5 star reads for the second half of the year, Tammy:)).
You had some great reads. Hope the next half of the year is just as good book wise.
Lynn 😀
Great job sticking with those plans and also being pretty spot on. Also thanks for reminding me about Day Zero–i need to pick up a copy of that one!
Oh that is such an awesome score Tammy!
