The Friday Face-Off: Favorite Covers of 2020

The Friday Face-Off was created by Books by Proxy, where each week bloggers can showcase books with covers centered around a weekly theme. You can visit Lynn’s Books for a list of upcoming themes. Join in the fun each Friday by finding a book whose cover is based on the theme!

This week’s theme: Freebie

I wasn’t going to post today, being Christmas Day and all. But hey, why not do a quick post and share my favorite book covers from 2020? If you celebrate today, I wish you all a Merry Christmas! I’m having a nice quiet day with just my hubby and kids, and we’re going to cook something fun later, like maybe ramen. So here are some of my favorite covers from the books I read in 2020.

Did any of these make your favorites list?

  1. Red Peak, gotta love that cover! I hope you and your family are having a Merry Christmas, Tammy! I made myself some spicy miso ramen last night. πŸ™‚

  2. JonBob

I remember seeing the Mexican Gothic cover for the first time and just instantly being like “Yes, I need to read this book”. I’d never read anything by Silvia Moreno-Garcia before either. Just gonna admit that I abolutely judge books by their covers haha.

That cover for The Deep is also wonderful; I’ve not read the book but definitely encouraged to investigate further…
