Top Ten Tuesday – Books With the Word “Fall” in the Title

I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!

At first I was going to do a Fall color layout, because I’m all about colors, but I feel like I’ve recently done something similar (I did this rainbow layout not too long ago). So instead, I’m being super literal and showcasing books with the word “Fall” or “Falling” in the titles. Surprisingly, I had quite a few of these already in my Media Library, so this was fairly easy to pull together.

Have you read any of these books?

  1. Nice idea and interesting selection. I’ve yet to read any of these, but I have Planetfall and would like to read at least that, Shorefall, and The Fall of Koli, and likely also the Hyperion books. Gotta get reading! 🙂

I actually haven’t read very many of these, lol. I must have featured them on my blog at some point though.

  2. Wesley Chu reminds me I need to check and see where his Time Salvager series is. I’m not sure there’s gonna be a third book… I love the cover of Newman’s book.

  3. What a great take on this week’s theme. I love seeing these together and even though you went for a word rather than a colour theme I think these still reflect the colours of autumn. Dark skies, browns and reds.

I like this take on “Fall” ! You have some interesting and new titles to me on this — and gosh, I am loving the cover for The Eastern Falls MAssacre — it makes me want to know more and fear it at the same time!

  5. Oh, I love this list! This is also a reminder that I still need to read that Charlaine Harris book! I had it out from the library at one point but just wasn’t feeling it at the time–the perils of mood reading.

  6. Planetfall, The Fall of Hyperion and Shorefall are all memorable reads – and I’m very much looking forward to reading The Fall of Koli! And yes… a lot of falling going on in SFF:)). Thank you for such a lovely selection of covers, Tammy.
