Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
Today’s theme is all about book titles! I’ve chosen ten titles that are either a) really long, b) really cool or c) really strange. This was fun! I’m linking my reviews in case you want to know more about them:
Great list! Do You Dream of Terra-Two? has me so intrigued because of the title, and I love the title of The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind. A friend of mine loves stories about telekinesis, so I think I might have to get her that one for Christmas.

Both are worth reading! And yes, your friend would probably have a lot of fun with that one:-)
These are all great picks. It’s funny I chose a bunch of titles that seemed really long too, but I haven’t read most of the ones that made my list- they are just on my TBR in some way.

I decided to just look over my “read” list and I just happened to have a lot of long weird titles, so I just went with those:-)
These are some really great titles. I can’t wait to read “The Girl Who Moved S**t with her Mind.” I saw my library order a copy and was excited. I still need to read “A Boy and His Dog at the End of the World” but I’m afraid.
READ IT BARB!! You will not regret it, I promise.
Excellent list matey! I have read six of them. I be a sucker for cool titles. I just finished the sh*t book this morning and will be reading the sequel. I still need to read we are all completely fine. I adore that title.
x The Captain
I hope you do read We Are All Completely Fine. Not at all what I expected, but one of my favorites:-)
A great list, Tammy:). The only one I’ve read is This is How You Lose the Time War – which I loved.
And that title works perfectly with the story, right?
I totally thought about The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind, too! But I didn’t add it, because I talk about that book SO MUCH, so I went with some ones I haven’t talked about as much. xD I definitely love the title This is How You Lose the Time War. And Down Among the Sticks and Bones is such a fun title to say! It was always my favorite title in that series.

Seanan McGuire always has cool titles. I literally could have made this a SG post, lol.
That’s exactly what I was going to say, she has fantastic titles!
I really like the rest of the list too, those are all very interesting titles.
How fun and what a fantastic list. I’m known for grabbing books because of the intriguing titles. Just like how a gorgeous or captivating cover will reel me in:)

Yep me too! Covers and titles are the first things you see, so it makes sense.
I literally love all these titles! I especially love the title of The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind. It made me laugh. 😀

I know, I laugh every time I see it:-)
This is How You Lose the Time War is definitely one of my favorite titles this year. One of my all time favorites is The Lies of Locke Lamora. It just rolls off the tongue and you instantly know you are in for a whole mess of deception!

I love The Lies of Locke Lamora too, I mean any book with “lies” in the title, you know it’s going to be good:-)
I swear to God I came for the girl who could move sh*t with her head! I love that title and had a feeling you will have it!
I’ve seen it on a lot of lists today, it’s such a fantastic title:-)
This Is How You Lose The Time War is so unique, and definitely gets me thinking about what the book is about!

I think the title is actually perfect for the story:-)
These are all fantastic examples.. I think A Boy and His Dog just might end up being my favorite of the year….hard to say yet though, there’s been so many great reads this year. 🙂
Me too Lisa, it’s way at the top of my list for 2019:-)
The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind is one of my all time favorite book titles, lol.

Me too, and the book is just as good.
That first one is epic!!! There are so many great titles out there
I think authors who come up with interesting titles definitely have an edge!
My Best Friend’s Exorcism sure sticks with you! 🙂 Great picks!
It does! Thanks Lauren:-)
Some of those are really long, all right. I have to say though, I’m not much of a fan of the “swearing” in titles trend – I didn’t mind it when it was just one or two, but now it’s like EVERYONE is doing it. I find the censoring to be silly too, like Sh*t and F*ck…I mean, you’re trying to be a total edgelord by having a naughty word in your title, but still bowing to the publishers and the public – good job! 😛
Ha ha, right?
Nice! I’d like to try reading those last two: Do You Dream of Terra-Two and Down Among the Sticks and Bones. And to add my own pick to the list, I enjoyed Cowboy Feng’s Space Bar and Grille by Steven Brust. Strange, fun read.
Ooh, now I want to look up Cowboy Feng’s Space Bar. Great title!
This is a great list. Long book titles do seem to be popular at the moment. I have to say that when I’m writing a review it can become very tedious typing out the full thing!
