Top Ten Tuesday: Books with Numbers in the Title

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!

This was so much fun! When I saw the prompt this week, I remembered seeing a post on Greg’s blog where he listed books with numbers in their titles, and I was excited to try this for myself. I’ve managed to find a book for each of the numbers “one” through “ten” and I’m even throwing in some bonus books, lol. Because it’s fun and I couldn’t stop! Also, these are all books I’ve read! And because I’m feeling lazy, no links or descriptions today, just covers with numbers. Here we go:

It’s interesting to note that I had a BUNCH of choices for some numbers, like SIX, ONE, and FIVE, so it was difficult to pick just one.

What are some of your favorite books with numbers in the titles?

  1. Ooh, I’m impressed by your ability to get books from one through ten! I couldn’t quite get there, haha. One of Us reminds me that I need to finally read that book!

  2. I love everything about your list. Some new to me stuff and some familiar favorites. Good job on the 1-10! I think it’s probably a lot harder than it sounds. I’m a little sorry I skipped this week’s topic now.

Aww thanks! I think I just got lucky and just happened to have a lot of books with numbers in the titles:-)

It’s easy if you go to your Goodreads “read” shelf and just go through books. I found a bunch more than these!

  3. Nice, I like this one. These are fun to try. Looking through my read list I found several for one but nothing for nine. How about these (some may be stretching it)?

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, The Two Towers by JRR Tolkien, Tripoint by CJ Cherryh, The Sign of the Four by Arthur Conan Doyle, Master of the Five Magics by Lyndon Hardy, Six of Swords by Carole Nelson Douglas, The Seven by Peter Newman, Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne, The Blood of Ten Chiefs ed. by Richard Pini, and to end with a bang, Split Infinity by Piers Anthony. 🙂

I think it would be fun to do a list with character’s names in the titles. Or colors. Clearly I’m in the mood to come up with lists, lol.
