Giveaway! FOUNDRYSIDE by Robert Jackson Bennett

**Update: Congrats to my randomly selected winner, Jennifer from The Book Den!

One of my favorite books last year was Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett, and today is the paperback release day! To celebrate, I’m thrilled to have a paperback copy to give away to one U.S. winner, courtesy of Penguin Random House/Crown Books. If you haven’t read it yet, this is the perfect time, because the sequel Shorefall comes out early next year. You can click on the link above to read my review, or check out the publisher’s description below:

Sancia Grado is a thief, and a damn good one. And her latest target, a heavily guarded warehouse on Tevanne’s docks, is nothing her unique abilities can’t handle.

But unbeknownst to her, Sancia’s been sent to steal an artifact of unimaginable power, an object that could revolutionize the magical technology known as scriving. The Merchant Houses who control this magic–the art of using coded commands to imbue everyday objects with sentience–have already used it to transform Tevanne into a vast, remorseless capitalist machine. But if they can unlock the artifact’s secrets, they will rewrite the world itself to suit their aims.

Now someone in those Houses wants Sancia dead, and the artifact for themselves. And in the city of Tevanne, there’s nobody with the power to stop them.

To have a chance at surviving—and at stopping the deadly transformation that’s under way—Sancia will have to marshal unlikely allies, learn to harness the artifact’s power for herself, and undergo her own transformation, one that will turn her into something she could never have imagined.

For this giveaway, please leave a comment below. I will select one random winner a week from today. Please remember, U.S. only, good luck!

I probably shouldn’t enter, because I have an e-copy. But I haven’t met a Bennett book I didn’t love enough to reread. This is no exception. Plus, this one influenced the jewelry I design: so many Clef charms 🙂

Sounds like a great new series from a well respected author. I’d love to win a copy of Foundryside. Thanks!

This has been on my wishlist for quite awhile. You’re a bad influence on my to be read pile, lol

This sounds great! If I win it will be a difficult decision whether to gift it to my niece or keep it for myself! We share books, but the question will be: who gets to read it first?
