Waiting on Wednesdays is the brainchild of Jill at Breaking the Spine, and because Jill isn’t hosting it any more, I’m now linking up with Can’t Wait Wednesday at Wishful Endings. Stop over there and link up your “Can’t Wait” book of the week!
I love this series, and I’m so happy to see a cover for the final book!
In her childhood, Rose Franklin accidentally discovered a giant metal hand buried beneath the ground outside Deadwood, South Dakota. As an adult, Dr. Rose Franklin led the team that uncovered the rest of the body parts which together form Themis: a powerful robot of mysterious alien origin. She, along with linguist Vincent, pilot Kara, and the unnamed Interviewer, protected the Earth from geopolitical conflict and alien invasion alike. Now, after nearly ten years on another world, Rose returns to find her old alliances forfeit and the planet in shambles. And she must pick up the pieces of the Earth Defense Corps as her own friends turn against each other.
Only Human (Themis Files #3) by Sylvain Neuvel. Releases in May 2018 from Del Rey Books. It’s not much of a blurb, but that’s OK. I’m very excited to see how this series is going to end!
Haven´t heard of the author or this series yet, but I like that every cover is in the same style. Hope you´ll enjoy your pick. Thanks for sharing.

Me too, I like the way they’ve kept the covers consistent:-)
I saw the first one of these on Netgalley – and am still kicking myself for not having requested it… I will catch up with this series in due course as it looks fabulous – no wonder you can’t wait for the final instalment!
These are pretty quick reads, so it would be easy to do a binge read:-)
I had an ARC of the first one in the series, but traded it because I didn’t know when I’d get to it. Now I wish I had kept it and read. Hope you get this one soon. You can see my Wednesday post in the link below.

I’ve done that before, given away a book and then regretted it later:-/ Oh well, it’s not like we don’t have enough to read, right?
This actually looks really interesting! Thank you for sharing. I will definitely check out the first book in the series to see if I might enjoy it. 🙂

My Can’t Wait Wednesday
Thanks for visiting, Laura:-)
Metal hands. Makes me thing of Transformers, probably because I just watched the new one last night. I know tons of people love this series but I’ve not read it. Maybe I’ll consider it some day. Nice choice!

I know you don’t read a lot of sci fi, but this one is pretty good, and scary:-O
reminder to self to read No.2 – at least I have a bit of time to catch up before this one comes out.
Thanks for highlighting it and jogging my memory.

I don’t always do well with keeping up with series, but this is one I’m up to date with. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to catch up too:-)
This sounds really good and I haven’t seen it before either. The cover is gorgeous and so are the first two covers. Great pick.

It’s a highly addictive SF series, I recommend it if you have time:-)

Great minds think alike:-D
I haven’t read this series, but I have seen a lot of praise for it. I hope the trilogy gets a great wrap up.
That’s always my fear with trilogies, that they won’t have a strong ending. Hopefully this time:-)
I definitely want to read this, I’m really interested to see where it will take the series. The ending of the last one was such a shocker! There’s just something about these books that make me want to keep reading 🙂

I’m going to have to go back and reread the ending before I tackle this, but I’m very curious to see how it all ends!
I read the first one, haven’t read the second one yet. Love the cover! Guess I better get on the ball with the second one!!

It’s amazing how quickly they are released, right? Luckily this is one serious I’ve been able to stay on top of:-)
I swear to God, It feels like book one was just released!! How’d it get to be book three?!?! Man. Too many books, too little time!
Yep, it’s a constant complaint with me too! Like slow down, writers! I need to catch up:-)
The ending of Waking Gods is still rattling around in my head so I am super excited to see what happens next!
