It that time again, time for my Book Review Giveaway! In case you’re unfamiliar with it, every month I offer one international winner the chance to choose one of the books I reviewed the previous month. Provided The Book Depository ships to your country, you can enter! Please help me congratulate last month’s winner:
Ellen B. selected The Weight of Feathers
I read some amazing books this past month, but there were a few that I didn’t love so much, so my ratings run the gamut this time around. There’s adult, young adult, and even a middle grade book to choose from, so let’s get to it! Here’s what you can select from if your name is randomly drawn (Click on the titles to read my reviews):
Our Lady of the Ice by Cassandra Rose Clarke
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
This Monstrous Thing by Mackenzie Lee
The Weight of Chains by Lesley Conner
After Alice by Gregory Maguire
Tell the Story to Its End by Simon P. Clark
Bat Out of Hell by Alan Gold

Jenny Lawson’s FURIOUSLY HAPPY. Lovely book.
My favorite book last month was Why Not Me?
Great giveaway.
Lynn 😀
The four new books by Jim and Joyce Lavene. Joyce recently passed away and I don’t know if any more will be forthcoming. I just adore their cozies.

I really don’t have one, a favorite that is for October. I think I’m just still trying to get over the fact it’s November already.
Thanks.
The School For Unusual Girls was one of my favorites. Hard To Break was another.
Best book for me last month was The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderon 🙂 I did read other good books, but none of them came close to it.
I loved Iluminae <3 Such a good book, amazing writing! Thanks for the chance <3
I’ve read roughly a jillion books in the last few weeks and right now, I can’t even remember which book I loved. I know I read many wonderful books, but I just finished a couple of not so great books, and they have temporarily erased the titles of the great books from my mind…I read Girl Goyle and really enjoyed it. (Sorry for failing to remember immediately…)

Don’t mind me commenting here – but I LOVED All The Light We Cannot See, too! 😀 Such a beautiful, heart-rending story.

Loved Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo!
They all look great but Bat out of Hell looks really interesting. Thanks for the giveaway!
Mine was Where Things Come Back.
I didn’t really read any books released in October.
I only got to 6 books in October and I would say that my favorite was a reread of Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder and runner-up was Shifting Dreams by Elizabeth Hunter.
My favorite book of October was The Rest of Us Just Live Here!
SIX OF CROWS <3
I wasn’t home much of Oct. and didn’t read while away. Just finished Witches Protection Program by Michael Phillips Cash.
Oooh the opportunity to pick something from another person’s book shelf 😛 Always a fun exercise! The top 2 that I am definitely interested in reading are Illuminae and Our Lady of Ice!
Sadly during October school just took up all of my time and I could barely read. I did reread Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and that made me happy 🙂
I read ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. It was creepy good!
Wolf By Wolf by Ryan Graudin was absolutely amazing.
Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
