You may be wondering why I haven’t been posting recently, and that would be a really good question. Unfortunately, I was struck down by the nasty influenza beast and I’m now on my EIGHTH day of being sick. I actually feel well enough to write this post, so hopefully that means I’m on the upswing. So, when everyone says you should get a flu shot? You should really do that. I’m REALLY going to do that next year. This has been the worst bug I’ve ever had, and I don’t get sick that often.
The worst part—other than the constant fever and inability to keep my eyes open—is that I’ve technically had all this “free” time and I haven’t felt like reading at all. So I’m way behind on that. I also haven’t had any desire to visit other blogs or leave comments, so I do apologize for not stopping by. I miss you all and I hope to be back to normal soon! I also hope to start posting more next week, we’ll see how I feel tomorrow. And if all goes well, I might be able to go back to work Monday.
Stay healthy, folks!
That’s terrible! Hoping you get well soon.
Hope you feel better soon, Tammy. Take care of yourself. 🙂
Don’t let all the not posting and visiting be on your mind – you’re not feeling good so just chill out and get better.
Take care
Lynn 😀
Feel better soon, Tammy! I heard you were down with the flu and my thoughts have been with you. And totally understand the complete and utter lack of desire to read while you’re sick. I came down with a nasty bug last month and all I managed were audiobooks, because I was feeling too miserable to focus. Take it easy, and looking forward to your return!

I hope you’re feeling better soon, Tammy.
Always take care of yourself. Hope you’re on the downside of this crud and completely well soon.
Feel better soon! And sick time is not free time! I know I get the same way when I’m really sick, wish I could read, but just can’t. The books and the blogs aren’t going anywhere so Rest up! And we look forward to hearing from you when you’re feeling better and are up to it.
Oh no, hope you get to feeling better soon! Take care of yourself!

One of the (very) few perks of being at home sick is that we can lounge on bed or couch and READ, so I feel quite deeply your sadness at being unable to do so…
Get well soon! My best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Awwwwww, I hope you feel better soon. Don’t worry so much about reading and blogging right now. Just focus on resting and getting back to normal. We’ll be back once you’re ready to come back. 😉
Hope you feel better! Take care of yourself!
Isn’t that always the way?! Any time off is extra reading time but when you’re feeling rotten and sick it just feels like lost reading time 🙁 Hope you feel better soon!
Feel better soon!

As a current snot tsunami, I totally relate. Get well soon!
Sure hope you feel better soon! You’ll be missed. 🙂
Sorry to hear about it. Hope you get well soon Tammy – miss your posts 🙂
Feel better soon, Tammy! I can’t read when I’m sick either, nor can I listen to audiobooks because I just end up passing out. Rest up and don’t worry about blog stuff – we’ll all still be here when you get back! 🙂

Sending you best wishes for a swift recovery! Also, totally understand the book reading/blogging slump thing – am currently in the middle of one. :/
