Waiting on Wednesday (50) TUMBLE & FALL by Alexandra Coutts

Waiting on Wednesday copy

Today is my 50th Waiting on Wednesday! I feel like I’ve reached some kind of milestone… Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and is a fun way to share highly anticipated books with other bloggers. Today I’m waiting on:

Tumble & Fall

Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts. Release date: September 17 2013 (Farrar, Straus & Giroux).  I love this cover! Especially the huge ampersand in the middle surrounding the models’ faces. Oh, and I love the girl’s dress! This is an end of the world story, yea! Here’s what Goodreads says:

A novel about the end of days full of surprising beginnings

The world is living in the shadow of oncoming disaster. An asteroid is set to strike the earth in just one week’s time; catastrophe is unavoidable. The question isn’t how to save the world—the question is, what to do with the time that’s left? Against this stark backdrop, three island teens wrestle with intertwining stories of love, friendship and family—all with the ultimate stakes at hand.

Alexandra Coutts’s TUMBLE & FALL is a powerful story of courage, love, and hope at the end of the world.

  1. I’ve definitely seen this around and loved the cover but after reading the synopsis, I really want to check this out now! Great pick 😀

  2. Yes, yes, yes. I think this cover was made for ampersand lovers, because ohhhh it is so good. Not to mention, the amazing-sounding premise of the book! I can’t wait for this one, either. 😀

  3. Really pretty cover! The ampersand is my favorite part, or maybe it’s the dress next to the guy’s red plaid shirt. I haven’t come across this one before so I’m glad you shared it today!
