Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine! It seems I never run out of books that I am “waiting” on, and this week is no exception. Here’s the book in question for today:
The Falconer by Elizabeth May. Release date: ??? I know this book is coming out in Great Britain in September, but I can’t seem to find a U.S. release date. I’m going to assume it’s sometime this year. Anyway, cool cover, right? I love the steampunk-y gun the girl is holding! Here’s the description from Goodreads:

I can’t believe that I hadn’t heard of this one til now, because it sounds SO GOOD! I love books set in Scotland AND that have a romance with them. 😉 I need to find me a hot Scot. 😉 Haha. I hope they reveal the release date for this one in the U.S.!
I’ve had this on my TBR forever, so I’m glad we’re seeing it relatively soon! I have to say I’m not in love with the cover, though. :/

Sounds awesome! Definitely has hints of Buffy which is a plus, although I always worry when they start falling for the supernatural creatures. Hope they have a release date soon! Great pick!
