November 2024 – SciFi Month & Reading Wrap-Up

Art by Sxwx

I don’t even know what happened to November, lol, it went by so fast. It was Sci Fi Month, and I didn’t participate as much as I wanted to, but I’m grateful for the hosts—imyril of There’s Always Room for One More, Annemieke of A Dance With Books, Mayri the BookForager,  and Lisa of Dear Geek Place!—who kept things moving along: I managed to read and review three SF books, and the rest are from other genres. Below is a list of books I reviewed on the blog, and I’ll also list my other Sci Fi Month posts. Click on the titles to read my reviews!

The Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong

Devil’s Gun by Cat Rambo

Grimm Curiosities by Sharon Lynn Fisher

Rumor Has It by Cat Rambo

The Hollow and the Haunted by Camilla Raines

The Swarm by Andy Marino

Snow Drowned by Jennifer D. Lyle

Dark Space by Rob Hart & Alex Segura

  1. The month has definitely gone by really quickly, and I can’t believe another year is almost over too.
It looks like another good month of reading for you. My pace has really slowed down again recently but I’m hoping to read at least a couple more books before the end of the year 😀
Pages and Tea recently posted…Monthly Summary: November 2024My Profile

  2. I got the cutest special edition of TELLERS OF SMALL FORTUNES from fairyloot. I can’t wait to read it, although I have seen mixed reviews about it. I suppose it’ll boil down to whether I mind low stakes/cozy fantasy.

  3. I really can’t believe we’re now in December. This year has flown by. It looks like you read an interesting mix of books too. I majorly want to check out Teller Of Small Fortunes some time and I’m very intrigued by Grimm Curiosities after everything you’ve said about it. I hope you have a wonderful December

  4. You had a really great month!!
I was hoping to read the second book by Rambo but… No luck! Oh well, there is still December (and the next year! Luckily books don’t expire!! )

  5. It did seem like a quick month, but you had some great books in that time. The only sci-fi book I finished in November was Arthur C Clarke’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. I’d seen the movie so it was interesting comparing that to the book.

  6. The months seem to be flying by – i feel like someone pressed the x2 button, we need to slow down. Anyway, you did great and at least you were organised!
    Lynn 😀

  7. November went by in a blink. I wanted to participate in SciFiMonth too but was too busy to do so. The fall is always my busiest time of year.
