Welcome to Future Fiction, my reimagining of the Waiting on Wednesday meme! There are so many amazing new books coming out, that I can no longer pick just one. My goal with Future Fiction is to share at least three new books each week, a combination of recent cover reveals and books that I’ve recently added to my TBR pile. I’m still going to be linking up with Wishful Endings/Can’t Wait Wednesday, and I also want to give a shout out to Jill at Breaking the Spine for starting the original Waiting on Wednesday meme. This past week was light on cover reveals, but here are three must reads I tracked down:

The Artist of Blackberry Grange by Paulette Kennedy. Releases in March 2025 from Lake Union Publishing. A few months ago I read Kennedy’s The Devil and Mrs. Davenport and really enjoyed it. This sounds like there might be a touch of the paranormal, and I can’t wait to read it:-)

You Killed Me First by John Marrs. Releases in March 2025 from Thomas & Mercer. I’m not quite sure what this is about, lol, but it’s John Marrs so I’m excited to read it!

Harmattan Season by Tochi Onyebuchi. Releases in May 2025 from Tor Books. A blend of fantasy and hardboiled detective fiction? I’m definitely interested in this. I’ve enjoyed Onyebuchi in the past, and I’d love to try this one.

The Artist of Blackberry Grange sounds really great and I love the era it’s set in. The part of the mansion sitting precariously atop an Arkansas bluff makes me kinda nervous. But the cover is stunning!

The last one is the one more up my alley, but You Killed Me First sounds mighty intriguing!! And I love the title!!
I hadn’t heard of any of these but I’m intrigued by them all. I also can’t believe that I haven’t read anything by John Marrs yet there are at least two of his books that I read the blurbs of and thought sounded amazing.
The Artist of Blackberry Grange is new to me and sounds quite interesting! The other two are on my list and I am VERY excited for both! Great choices!
