Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
It’s an exciting week because it’s San Diego Comic Con week! I leave for San Diego on Wednesday, so this weekend is packing and getting ready for the trip. Because I’ll be out of town for five days, my blog content this week and next week is going to be on the lighter side, but stay tuned for a SDCC wrap-up post at some point. There are going to be some exciting authors at the event, and there are a few I’m hoping to meet (looking at you, Stephen Graham Jones!) I also love Comic Con because my daughter and I always go together (since she was twelve and obviously the years we were able to get tickets). She’s even started reading a lot this past year, so hopefully it won’t be too painful for her to wait in book lines with me, lol. I hope everyone has a great week!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I’ll probably just post one review this week, with Comic Con I have time to read but not to write reviews. Which means I’ll fall even more behind, oh well. Tomorrow I’m posting my review of The Spellshop, which was a delight from the very first page! I’m currently reading A Marriage of Undead Convenience, and after that I’ve got my eye on Ghost Camera and The Drowning House.
Other posts this week:
On Tuesday, I have a “Looking Ahead” post to highlight some of the books and authors I hope to see at Comic Con; and Wednesday I have three new covers to share on Future Fiction; and Thursday I’m posting Ten Upcoming Books That Don’t Have Covers Yet #2. I had fun putting the last one together, so I decided to do it again:-)
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
I Was a Teenage Slasher by Stephen Graham Jones – Review 5/5 stars
2024 Reading Challenges – Second Quarter Update
Filthy Rich Fae by Geneva Lee – Review 4/5 stars

I’m sure Comic Con will be so much fun! We have similar events here in Belgium but on a much smaller scale, of course. I hope I can someday go. I hope you’ll post some pictures for us to see. And as always Badger is super cute. Send him much pets from me! 😀
