It wouldn’t be Wyrd & Wonder without a list or two, and because this year’s theme is “comfort zone,” I thought it would be fun to put together a list of upcoming cozy fantasy books. A couple of these are already available, but most are coming out later this year. I’m linking to Goodreads if you’d like to read more about each book, and I’m listing them in order of release date.

  1. I’ve got a few of these on my TBR but I’m definitely going to have to add some of the others to it as well. I haven’t read many cosy fantasy books yet but I loved my most recent one and really want to check out the genre more.

  2. How many amazing titles!! I loved The Spellshop and really enjoyed Dreadful! The one I am the most excited about is The Teller of Small Fortunes, but a lot of the others are on my TBR!!

  3. I’ve got The Spellshop and loved A Letter to the Luminous Deep – I’m particularly keen to get hold of A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping. Thank you for listing these others, Tammy – I’m keeping an eye out for them:)).

  4. Wow, so many of this theme showing up now. I don’t know how far down the Hallmark Channel path I’m willing to go but I did really enjoy Legends & Lattes so I’d like to explore a little more. I’m drawn to the cover, title and idea behind The Teller of Small Fortunes. And of course The Village Library Demon-Hunting Society does have a certain ring to it. 🙂

I feel like I need a little tension in my cozy fantasy, I know what you mean about the “Hallmark Channel path,” lol.

  5. Definitely some I’m interested in here! As you know I’ve already read DREADFUL. But I enjoyed India Holton’s writing style and have wanted to read another one of hers…I’m sure her new one will be great! I put in a request for Shoestring Theory (I think lol), so maybe I’ll get to read an ARC of it.

  6. TNT

New C.M. Waggoner? Yes please! Alas that we must wait until September. Thanks for the list

  7. A couple of these were already on my list but I’ve just added three more so thanks for that 😀 The Village Library Demon Hunting Society and The Crescent Moon Tearoom both sound perfect, and the other one I’ve added is The Ornithologist’s Field Guide to Love.

  8. I’m a little in love with that cover for Dreadful! I don’t think I’ve heard of it yet but I need it now, haha. I loved Lumnous Deep, and I’m really excited for The Spellshop and The Teller of Small Fortunes as well! I’ll have to look into more of these.
