Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
My hubby is back from his trip to Africa with a bunch of cool new photos! I’m sharing a few of my favorites below, but if you’re interested in seeing more, and you’re on Facebook, you can follow his photography page here.
Upcoming reads and reviews:
Tomorrow I’ll share my review of Dead of Winter, which was a pretty terrifying survival/slasher story! I’m currently reading The Deep Sky and Claws & Contrivances, and after that I’ll probably dive into Silver Nitrate.
Other posts this week:
On Tuesday, I’m exciting to finally share my 2023 Mid Year Freak Out Book Tag, one of my favorite posts of the year! Wednesday is the usual Future Fiction; and honestly, I’m not sure what else. This might be a light week.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:

The Africa photos your husband made are amazing. I love the elephants (my favorite animal) and the cheetah mom and baby (my favorite big cat). Hope you’ll have a great upcoming week, Tammy!

I really love the elephant photo, mostly because they are active and not just staring at the camera, lol. I hope you have a great week as well!
I love the picture of the umbrella tree!

It seems to be a favorite for sure. It almost looks like a painting:-)

Thanks Stormi, you too!
I look forward to reading about Dead of Winter. And what great photos from Moses. I especially like the umbrella tree.
I love the umbrella tree too. He took several awesome tree photos on the trip!
I always like to see the things you are reading because it is not the same as most of the rest of the blogs I follow. I like the scifi and fantasy more than others. Horror is not for me so I don’t pay as much attention to those.
The photos are awesome. I really enjoy them.

Thanks Anne! I also follow blogs that are different from mine, I always love seeing other genres, because you never know what you might be missing:-)
Amazing photos! Can’t wait to hear about Dead of Winter!
Thanks Lisa! I loved Dead of Winter:-)
Oh my gosh I love that cheetah pic!

My request for “Boys in the Valley” was approved! And, I need to start reading, “Silver Nitrate,” A.S.A.P.! I can’t wait to read your review of “The Deep Sky”!

I hope you love Boys in the Valley too!
Such lovely photos, especially the one of the cheetahs.
Looking forward to your Mid Year Freak Out post (and can’t believe how quickly this year has gone so far!).
I can’t either! The year is going much too fast:-)
I love the pics – while the animals are awesome, I think the photo of the umbrella tree is the one that has captured my heart. I lived in Africa as a little girl and remember the huge skies and wonderful light to this day. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reads – The Deep Sky looks fabulous.
Oh yes, that umbrella tree photo is one of my favorites too! I love that you lived in Africa, how thrilling!
The umbrella tree shot is perfect. That is a well named tree. 😀
Happy reading.
Lynn 😀
Very curious to hear your thoughts on The Deep Sky and Silver Nitrate! I’m loving your husband’s photos–Africa has so many places I want to visit one day! That umbrella tree photo is simply stunning.
