I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
Today’s theme is to list books with a unit of time in the title—seconds, minutes, days, years, etc.—and I seem to have read, or want to read, quite a few books with the word “day.” Here’s a gallery of a bunch of books, enjoy!
Cool, Tammy! I’d add One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich.
Ooh nice!
Nice! I’ve yet to read any of these, but Day Zero is up there on my list. If I look back at my own stacks and only include speculative prose I’ve read then I can add Friday (Robert A. Heinlein) and Diamond Dogs, Turquoise Days (Alastair Reynolds).
I’m surprised how many books have “day” or “days” in the title:-)
Fun approach, and I love your selection of books! (Possibly because Day Zero is a book that makes me happy whenever I see it… I mean, tiger nanny bot!!)
Me too, I love that book:-)
McGuire’s Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day is the only one from your list that I have read, but I’ve been curious about Pinsker’s Song for a New Day as well. Great list!
Ooh the Pinsker book is so good!
This is fun – you created a really swell TBR. The word-art/cover design on “It Happened One Doomsday” is eye-catching.
I like that font too:-)
Such great covers for all of these!
Thanks!
Yay! Titan’s Day!
The best book of the bunch:-)
“Day” does appear to be a popular word for book titles. Who knew? Great list!
Happy TTT!

It really is popular! Thanks for visiting:-)
So many “day” books! Well done!
Thanks Stephanie!
And, Day of the Triffids. Great take.

Great twist! I checked and apparently have read 24 with the word day in the title!
Do you know this one? First of a great series, fabulous author: https://wordsandpeace.com/2017/01/30/book-review-two-days-gone/
Oh wow, that’s a lot!
Me think that you nailed that challenge Tammy!
Thanks!
Adjustment Day by Chuck Palahniuk
You know of many more day books than I do haha. I only recognize Day Zero.
