The Friday Face-Off was created by Books by Proxy, where each week bloggers can showcase books with covers centered around a weekly theme. You can visit Lynn’s Books for a list of upcoming themes. Join in the fun each Friday by finding a book whose cover is based on the theme!
This week’s theme: Kick-ass women.
I’ve decided to highlight a series for this week’s theme, and what better series than Jackson Ford’s The Frost Files, featuring kick-ass Teagan Frost, a woman born with the ability to move objects with her mind. Teagan is one of my favorite characters in fiction right now. She runs headlong into danger in order to protect her friends, but she’s also go a soft, goofy side and is a loyal friend. It doesn’t hurt that the series has a host of other kick-ass female characters, including Annie and Reggie, plus a bunch of awesome side characters.
The series is up to book #4, which will be released next week, so what better time to talk up The Frost Files?
Obviously there is a theme going on with the covers, and I think they fit the story perfectly.
I don’t particularly like any one cover, but I love them all together as a series!

I love the covers, even if they are not my usual choice. They are fresh!
I need to catch up on this series!
I haven’t read the series yet but your reviews have gotten me excited for it. Also love how the covers fit together. 😀

I should start this series. I like strong , impulsive female protagonists and the titles and covers are fun.

Not my usual type of cover but they look great together and this is definitely a series that I really regret not picking up from the start.
Lynn 😀
All the covers are hectic and I love it XD

These are fun covers. I like that last one especially!
I’m not reading this series but I do like the sound of it and would love to try it. Can’t say I’m drawn to any one cover but they do a good job of throwing together all kinds of interesting things.
That series seems a lot of fun! Thank you for sharing Tammy.
I’m not really one for text covers, but these are at least interesting! 😀
I have just added this to my TBR — these titles lol! These titles and these covers work wonderfully!
