Ten Books With Disembodied Hands on the Cover

I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!

Today’s theme is “Top Ten Books With (Blank) on the Cover,” and I wanted to do something a little different, so I’m showcasing covers with disembodied hands. It’s more common than you might think! Take a look:

There’s just something about a hand that doesn’t seem to be connected to a body that creeps me out!

  1. I never thought about how many disembodied hands were on covers, what a great for this week! It is definitely a bit unnerving to see all these hands, haha. These all seem so weird the longer I look at them! They remind me of the parking garage at the San Jose Intl airport that has this huge artwork all around it featuring random hands reaching up and it *always* creeped me out when I saw it. We probably should keep hands attached when we can.
