March was just too much. Too many books, too much stress, too many blog tours, lol. I had way too much to read, and of course I wasn’t able to get to everything. But overall, everything I read was pretty amazing, with a few 5 and 4.5 star books, a bunch of 4 star reads, and only one dud—but it was a BIG dud, unfortunately. The Soul Stealer gets one star from me, and instead of putting a full, ranty review on the blog, I’m (for the first time ever) linking to my Goodreads review instead. Here are the books I read and reviewed in March, and my reviews are linked if you’re interested:
YIKES. I just read your Masterton review, and…again, YIKES. Kudos for being able to finish it regardless of the giant mess it was. Thank goodness for books like The Shadow Glass to cleanse our palates!
I felt like I had to because of the blog tour. Ugh oh well!
You did awesome! I really want to read Simone’s book! Happy April, I hope it is less stressful for you!

Thanks Freda!
Looks like you had a really good month.
It was very good:-)
So many good ones! I’m so excited to read Kaiju — just need to clear a few more ARCs from my reading calendar so I can read without pressure!
Hope you enjoy it!
Lots of good reads! (And one that was definitely not to your liking.) On to April!

Yes! I love flipping over the calendar:-)
I haven’t gotten to Crowbones yet, in part because I want a MMP version to match the rest of my set (the hazards of coming to a series late). But glad it’s another solid entry!

It’s so good! Hope you eventually get your MMP:-)
I would check your review on Masterton later, but it seems like March was a great month! I hope April would be a more relaxing month! But as good as this one!!
Me too, I know May is going to be super busy for me, so I’m going to enjoy April:-)
I’ve read The Book of Cold Cases and Crowbones. You have many more I would like to read.

Wow that’s quite the review Tammy! At least March seemed like a pretty good month otherwise, if a wee bit stressful. Still, I recommend taking a nice break in April and curling up with some hot chocolate (or cold chocolate) and reading something off your backlist and not worrying about anything new or toury or anything!
If nothing else, I recommend that chocolate idea;)
Ha ha chocolate is always a good thing!
Eight books is very good for a busy and stressful month. Glad to see most were great reads, too. I’d like to try The Kaiju Preservation Society, seems it might be a nice change of pace.
Kaiju was a nice change of pace, hopeful and lighthearted:-)
We share Crowbones this month. The Others always make for such a good read.

That was a busy month indeed. I had a heck of a lot of books last month and even though I read a few ahead I still didn’t succeed in reading them all. Fingers crossed this month goes better.
Lynn ;D
You read some interesting looking books last month! And your review made me get The Kaiju Preservation Society on audio, well your review and someone who listened to it on audio too and mentioned that Wil Wheaton was the narrator.
