Looking Back: March 2022 Reading Wrap-Up

March was just too much. Too many books, too much stress, too many blog tours, lol. I had way too much to read, and of course I wasn’t able to get to everything. But overall, everything I read was pretty amazing, with a few 5 and 4.5 star books, a bunch of 4 star reads, and only one dud—but it was a BIG dud, unfortunately. The Soul Stealer gets one star from me, and instead of putting a full, ranty review on the blog, I’m (for the first time ever) linking to my Goodreads review instead. Here are the books I read and reviewed in March, and my reviews are linked if you’re interested:

The Shadow Glass by Josh Winning

The Fall by Alan Baxter

The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James

The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi

Crowbones by Anne Bishop

Comeuppance Served Cold by Marion Deeds

The Maker’s Box by David Barclay

The Soul Stealer by Graham Masterton

Have you read any of these books? What was your favorite March read?

  1. YIKES. I just read your Masterton review, and…again, YIKES. Kudos for being able to finish it regardless of the giant mess it was. Thank goodness for books like The Shadow Glass to cleanse our palates!

Wow that’s quite the review Tammy! At least March seemed like a pretty good month otherwise, if a wee bit stressful. Still, I recommend taking a nice break in April and curling up with some hot chocolate (or cold chocolate) and reading something off your backlist and not worrying about anything new or toury or anything!

If nothing else, I recommend that chocolate idea;)

  3. Eight books is very good for a busy and stressful month. Glad to see most were great reads, too. I’d like to try The Kaiju Preservation Society, seems it might be a nice change of pace.

  4. That was a busy month indeed. I had a heck of a lot of books last month and even though I read a few ahead I still didn’t succeed in reading them all. Fingers crossed this month goes better.
    Lynn ;D
