Today’s “list” is just for fun! I’ve done a couple of posts that focus on certain key words in book titles, and I had so much fun with those, I decided I needed to do one for SciFiMonth as well! I did a quick search for the word “star” and discovered it’s a very popular word in science fiction titles. Here’s a look at books with the word “star” in the title:
Damn, so many books with the word star in! Although not very surprising since it’s science fiction. It makes sense that there are a lot of titles with the word star in the genre. 😛

There are, and also a lot of fantasy that have that word, for some reason:-)
I’ve only read one of these but I’ve always meant to read These Broken Stars!

It was really good:-)
The Calculating Stars was amazing. I need to cont5that series.
I need to read it!
A while back I read Inherit the Stars. It was ok, had a few too many overly used tropes for me but still had some entertainment value. I’m curious to try The Calculating Stars.
I haven’t read either one of those, but I do want to read The Calculating Stars.
I read only three on your list but… who knows? I might give a peek at the other ones… 🙂

I haven’t even read them all, so three is pretty good:-)
How fun! What about Stardust by Neil Gaiman? Not scifi, but fantasy is close. 🙂
Oh great one! I didn’t even think of that.
So many pretty covers and so many intriguing stories. There’s something magical about stars!
I agree, and so many books with the word “start” in the title:-)
Well it’s not a book but Jack Campbell has a series The Lost Stars which I enjoyed.
I haven’t heard of that, but really, so many titles with the word “star” right?
I haven’t read any of those but this is such a fun idea for a post!
Thanks Laurie, more like me being lazy, lol.
I have only read Morning Star, and I loved it! (that series is just wow!) but I have Starship Repo on my list, and sooner or later I would read it!
I loved Morning Star too:-)
Nice list! After doing a search on my list in Goodreads, I can only add a few more sci-fi titles – The Stars Now Unclaimed, Stars Uncharted, Black Star Renegades, The Space Between the Stars, Defy the Stars, Starhawk and of course, Starsight!!!
There really are a ton of “star” books out there!
I cannot wait to read The Calculating Stars, it’s been on my TBR list for too long already 😀

Me too, and everyone seems to love it:-)
Such a fun post! I’ve only read two of these but at least I’ve heard of a few more haha. Going to look into some of those unknowns. Thanks for sharing!
It was fun to put together:-)
I’ve not read any of these……. yet!

There are so many of them and astonishingly, I know most of these! Great post Tammy!
What a wonderful gallery of lovely covers, Tammy:)). I’ve read four of these – and enjoyed them all. There are several of these I want to get to – Starship Repo and Star’s End, in particular… Thank you for sharing:))
Sanderson’s Starsight immediately springs to mind. Already mentioned in the comments.
