I’m borrowing this idea from Annemieke from A Dance With Books! Thank you Annemieke for the cool idea! I’m doing a slight twist to my post and giving you an A-Z list of TITLES of sci-fi books I’ve read and loved, but check out her post because it’s so creative:-D
I’ve read all of these except for the letters Q and K, which I’ve pulled from my TBR list instead. Also, just because I love to make things harder on myself, I’ve tried my best not to duplicate any of the titles on my other A-Z lists I’ve done this year (in case you missed them, see here and here) and I did pretty well, although due to letter restrictions, I did have to duplicate a couple. I absolutely love lists like this, and I hope you enjoy! (links go to my reviews)
A – Artemis by Andy Weir
B – Before Mars by Emma Newman
C – Company Town by Madeline Ashby
D – The Deaths of Tao by Wesley Chu
E – Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card
F – Firefly: Big Damn Hero by James Lovegrove
G – Gate Crashers by Patrick S. Tomlinson
H – How Rory Thorne Destroyed the Multiverse by K. Eason
(review to come soon!)
I – Illuminae by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman
J – Jurassic Florida by Hunter Shea
K – Killing Gravity by Corey J. White
L – The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling
M – The Municipalists by Seth Fried
N – Ninth Step Station by Malka Older, Fran Wilde, Jacqueline Koyanagi & Curtis C. Chen
O – Outpost by W. Michael Gear
P- The Passengers by John Marrs
Q – Quantum Break by Cam Rogers
R – Rosewater by Tade Thompson
(the original Apex Books cover)
Yeay such a great list <3 <3 I really want to read Space Opera at some point
Ooh it’s a fun one!
I love this idea too! I might have to give it a whirl. Although I’m wondering how many options there are for Z… Zeroes is on my TBR too, but I can’t think of many others that start with Z.
I sorted my Goodreads “read” and “want to read” lists by title and everything comes up alphabetically. So if you keep good track of your reading on Goodreads, it’s pretty easy.
You did well. I STILL have The Warehouse out from the library. I MUST make time for it. I like any list where I get to look at all kinds of beautiful and interesting covers!
Ha ha me too! I use any excuse to post something with lots of covers, those are the funnest posts to put together:-)
Wow. I feel like I’ve failed my sci-fi shelves – I’ve only read one of these (Jurassic Florida), and even that I shelved as horror now sci-fi. Definitely some titles on my TBR list here, though – Before Mars, How Rory Thorne Destroyed the Multiverse, Outpost, Space Opera, and Velocity Weapon among them.

I highly recommend all of those you mentioned, you really can’t go wrong:-)
Ooh, this is fun, and very impressive! I’m bookmarking this post — maybe have to come back to it over the weekend and see if I can manage an A-Z as well. 🙂
Ooh I hope you do! It was so much fun to pull together:-)
Very cool, Tammy!!
thanks Paul:-)
Impressive….

Oh you should. Such a great series, and really scary in parts!
Great list! The only one of these I have read is Ender’s Game haha

I think almost everyone has read Ender’s Game!
I really liked Before Mars, and Wesley chu- I haven’t read that one but I likd his Time Salvager series (the first two anyway- I’m not sure if there’s a third coming). And Jurassic Florida is one of my favorite covers. 🙂

Oh yes, I love the Jurassic Florida cover, it’s so bright!
Wow, great list! And it would appear I have some reading to do, having only read one of the books here (Ender’s Game). A few are fairly high on my TBR, though (Artemis, Before Mars, Velocity Weapon).
Thanks Todd! Lots of good reading here, when you need an idea for science fiction:-)
I love it when you do these lists and I’m impressed that you rose to the challenge of not duplicating titles from your other lists. I’ve actually only read two of these so far but have several of the others on my TBR.
It’s a fun challenge!
I absolutely love this idea! I may have to do this one too 😀
Oh yes!! Do one, I’d love to see yours.
What a fun post! I don’t think I’ve read enough science fiction to do A-Z, but I could do a horror list for sure.:-)
Thanks Priscilla! I’d love to see your horror list:-)
What fun and such a great list of books. I’ve read some of them and see a few I forgot to review. Better get on that. And I spy some I’ll be adding to my list.

Super fun to do, especially if you like challenges:-)
This is such a fun idea! You’ve got a pretty impressive list here 🙂 I think I’d need to grow the amount of SF titles I’ve read before attempting an A-Z list

It was fun! Hey, you could do this with any genre:-)
Great list — impressive feat. (driving myself crazy now wondering if I had a Q …_
Thanks! Q was TOUGH. I’ll be impressed with anyone who has read a Q book. (Q for fantasy is easy: Queen)
Great choices, Tammy! I’m definitely going to have to do this one! 😀
Thanks Lauren, I hope you do!
Oh, this is a lot of fun. I’m surprised to find I’ve actually read a few of these because I always feel like I don’t read nearly enough sci-fi!
I want to do a fantasy one next:-)
What a great list and such a fun post idea! I need to read Space Opera SOON, a couple of my friends have been shoving it at me.
Great list. There are so many on here that I want to read. And it’s lovely seeing Company Town make the cut.
Lynn
I can’t believe how few of these books I’d heard of before a couple were already on my TBR but less than I’d have guessed at which just goes to prove how little I know of the genre I guess.
