It’s that time again…time for one international winner to select one of the books I reviewed last month. After all, the main point of this blog is to share the books I love with the world, and this is also a way to catch up with my reviews if you’ve missed any! Before we get started, please congratulate last month’s winner:
Tia D. choose a copy of Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
May was a great month for books! Most of my ratings were 4 and 4 1/2 stars, so I recommend any of these. However, I have to say my overwhelming favorite was The Voodoo Killings, an inventive urban fantasy that gives a new twist to the zombie story. So here is what you could win this month (click on the titles to read my reviews):
The Voodoo Killings by Kristi Charish
Central Station by Lavie Tidhar
Roses and Rot by Kat Howard
My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel
The Arrival of Missives by Aliya Whiteley
The Jewel and her Lapidary by Fran Wilde

Congratulations, Tia – nice choice! Thanks for doing the blog and the giveaways, Tammy.
Roses and Rot by Kat Howard. 🙂 and the Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel.
The Voodoo Killings looks good ♥ Especially since you said it’s your favorite.
Central Station — It sounds like something right in my genre.
It’s between Central Station and Sleeping Giant – although I would’t mind a physical copy of The Jewel and Her Lapidary, since I had a time eARC for that one.
These all looked like great books! Good choices for May and for your giveaway!
Voodoo Killings by Kristi Charish. Thanks for this chance.
I am not entering but Roses and Rot already went on my library list 🙂
Sleeping Giants sounds intriguing. I’ve never read an epistolary novel.
Would love to read Voodoo Killins. Thank you for the chance.
CENTRAL STATION or SLEEPING GIANTS
The Voodoo Killings sounds good. Twisty plot, supernatural creatures and snarky humor — you sold me.
Sleeping Giants sounds really interesting 🙂
“Roses and Rot”! Though they all look pretty good 🙂
Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel looks awesome.
Most drawn to Central Station and Roses and Rot.
Voodoo Killings was a fun listen. I’ve been really curious about Central Station and was happy to see your high rating.
