Waiting on Wednesday is the brainchild of Breaking the Spine, although Jill isn’t hosting this meme anymore. In any case, I will continue to post Waiting on Wednesdays, simply because it’s one of my favorite posts to do each week:-D
This week’s pick wins the cover of the year award for sure! I’m in love with this cover, and the story sounds pretty good as well! Congrats to Angry Robot for once again hitting it out of the park:
Catherine Helstone’s brother, Laon, has disappeared in Arcadia, legendary land of the magical fae. Desperate for news of him, she makes the perilous journey, but once there, she finds herself alone and isolated in the sinister house of Gethsemane. At last there comes news: her beloved brother is riding to be reunited with her soon – but the Queen of the Fae and her insane court are hard on his heels.
Under the Pendulum Sun by Jeannette Ng. Releases in October 2017 from Angry Robot. I don’t usually talk about cover artists, but I have to give a shout out to artist John Coulthart, who designed this gorgeous cover. You can read more about the cover reveal over at Fantasy Faction.
What a gorgeously intricate cover! Wow.
That cover is gorgeous and it’s my favorite color – purple! I used to not have the best of luck with books centering around fae, and admittedly, they aren’t my favorite creatures, but my luck has improved the past few years so I might give this one a go! You definitely get points for best covers of the week!
Just added it to my TBR. Thanks for the heads up, I hadn’t seen this one before.
I saw the cover on Goodreads last week and I was like WOW! I actually don’t like a lot of AR covers, but I gotta say they killed it with this one. I know it’s a bad way to gauge what I want to read, but I won’t deny the cover helped bump this one up a little higher on my wishlist
OH HI. I knew nothing about this book before this post but I all I needed to know was that cover is amazing! I love purple and I love the artistry! Hats off to the artist/designer. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it, Tammy!
Have a fabulous week. =)

Although the summary doesn’t appeal to me, I feel like I could stare at that cover all day long <3
This sounds like a very interesting premise. I look forward to this one

Oh wow, that cover is mesmerising! Blurb is too of course, but seriously I can’t take my eyes off it!
