It’s baaack! After a couple of months off, it’s time to give away a book I reviewed the previous month. I published eight reviews last month, so one INTERNATIONAL winner will get to pick one! Anyone can enter, provided The Book Depository ships to your country. First, please congratulate my last Book Review Giveaway winner (whoa, that was way back in October!):
Kate S. chose When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore

Oh yeah, I was supposed to comment which January book was my favorite. I think it was still probably Faithful, although I read like 6 more. But that one just stuck with me.

The best book I read in January was a nonfiction for a book club–White Trash.
I’m reading “Coinman” by Pawan Mishra. It’s delightful, insightful, and extremely well-written!
You read a lot that I want to read, if I won I am not sure how I will choose a book…lol. I finally got around to reading Moon Called by Patricia Briggs in January and that has to be my favorite. 🙂
Best book in January?
Actually nonfiction: Kay Redfield Jamison, An Unquiet Mind. Good memoir by a psychiatrist with manic-depressive illness
Six Wakes. Too many good reviews have been seen for me not to want it.
Nathan (@reviewbarn) recently posted…Fantasy Review: ‘Amberlough’ by Lara Elena Donnelly
Oh, and the best book I read was Amberlough, but The Stars are Legion was pretty close.

January was a so-so month for me reading-wise. My favorite book that month was LIRAEL by Garth Nix, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as his first book SABRIEL. But so far this month, the books I’ve read (THE GIRL OF FIRE AND THORNS by Rae Carson, AMERICAN GODS by Neil Gaiman) have blown me away. 🙂
As for your giveaway…. ohhhhhh I’d love to win a copy of Heartstone! Thank you for doing this again, btw.

The best book I read in January was Never Never by James Patterson.
I read so many great books in January but my favorite was definitely A Gathering of Shadows by VE Schwab! Thanks for this great giveaway!
Teach Me To Forget by Chapman. Very emotional read involving suicides.
Tough call, but I think the best book I read in January was Etched in Bone by Anne Bishop. Such a great series finale! If I were to win one of your January review books, I’d want Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day!

Congratulations, Kate – enjoy!
The best book I read in January was maybe The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, by Becky Chambers.
I really enjoyed How to Break a Boy by Laurie Devore. It surprised me in a really good way!
Side question – Have you read Becky Chambers?
Clearly I need to get my hands on Six Wakes. Thought it sounded pretty good but five stars is pretty convincing. 🙂

Great month! I’ve only read one of these (Six Wakes)

My favorite book that I read in January was City of Saints & Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson. For me, it was definitely a five star read.
Saga issue 42 was amazing and heartbreaking.
My favorite book from January was After Atlas by Emma Newman. Great scifi murder mystery.
At the risk of sounding like the Sanderson-robot I am, I have to say The Way of Kings was my favorite book reviewed in January! But since I didn’t actually read the whole thing in January, I’ll add a second: I looooved Paulo Coelho’s The Witch of Portobello audiobook. Thanks so much for doing this giveaway 😀
January was so busy but I did get to read Paraiso by Gordon Chaplin. It was very good, I recommend it.
Blake Crouch’s DARK MATTER
Hands down Frostblood! 😀
I read the old Scary Stories books by Alvin Schwartz.
Seriously Wicked by Tina Connolly was my favourite January read. I thought it was a really funny and original take on witches and magic.
January was a fun month. My favorite January read was an oldie (Rosemary’s Baby).
I finally read A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas in January. So that will have to be the best book of that month 😉
Great giveaway with lots of good books.
Lynn 😀
Cress by Marissa Meyer. Thanks for the giveaway!
The Cursed Queen by Sarah Fine
My best January read was The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon, amazing read.
Thanks for a giveaway!!
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff was very good. Next up is The Suicide Motor Club by Christopher Buehlman.
