Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine, and is a fun way to share upcoming books that you’re excited about with other bloggers and readers.
I’ve been waiting and waiting for the U.S. cover of this book to be revealed, and I FINALLY spotted it on Goodreads this past week! Super excited for the final book in this amazing trilogy:
Revenge. It s something Sigrud je Harkvaldsson is very, very good at. Maybe the only thing.
So when he learns that his oldest friend and ally, former Prime Minister Shara Komayd, has been assassinated, he knows exactly what to do and that no mortal force can stop him from meting out the suffering Shara s killers deserve.
Yet as Sigrud pursues his quarry with his customary terrifying efficiency, he begins to fear that this battle is an unwinnable one. Because discovering the truth behind Shara s death will require him to take up arms in a secret, decades-long war, face down an angry young god, and unravel the last mysteries of Bulikov, the city of miracles itself. And perhaps most daunting of all finally face the truth about his own cursed existence.
City of Miracles (The Divine Cities #3) by Robert Jackson Bennett. Releases in May 2017 from Broadway Books. The best thing about this book? Sigrud is front and center! He was one of my favorite characters from City of Stairs, so I can’t wait to read about him again.
Ohh, I don’t read this series, in fact, I didn’t even know about it until now.
But I’m glad you like it and I hope you’ll enjoy this book once it comes out. 🙂

Thanks Irena, I’m sure it will be just an amazing as the previous two books:-)
Oh man, this series sounds soooo good! And in all of that, there’s a God involved? I need to know why!
This series is so good and so much fun:-D
I’ve never started this series but when I first saw the cover, without even reading anything on it, I knew what series it belonged to. I’m glad you finally found the cover and hope you love it when it’s released. Maybe you can snag an ARC somewhere.

That’s the idea, Barb! I need to request this for sure:-)
WOW. That cover is the best yet. I loved American Elsewhere by him but have yet to pick up this trilogy. Definitely on my list though. Might have to do a binge read once all installments are out. 😀

Binge reading this series would be awesome. Highly recommended! I do need to check out American Elsewhere:-)
I have the first two book in the series! But have I read them? Nope :/ Story of my readying life.
City of Blades was one of my favorite reads of 2015. Loved that book. But I haven’t yet read City of Stairs. Looking forward to both that and the new one.
You and I were almost WoW twins again this week! I had this one all queued up for my first non-sci-fi pick now that November is over, but then switched last minute. Still very very very excited for this one though, and I’ll probably feature this one myself somewhere down the road 😀
I haven’t heard of this series before, but those covers are awesome! I hope you get ahold of it soon. You can check out my WOW in the link below!

OMG we’re already at book three? I’m never going to catch up at this rate, which is a real shame because I *love* the sounds of this series!

I have to confess, I’m not sure I am going to continue this series. Its not bad, but I dont love it as much as everyone else (I dont always do well with books that have a detective/mystery air to them)
I can’t wait for this one!
Lynn 😀
