I just counted the books I’ve reviewed in the past two months, and I’m horrified with myself. How can I call myself a book blogger?? It’s been a very “real life” heavy few months, and reading/blogging has had to take a backseat to other things. I hope I can get back to the kind of blogging schedule I used to have, but the fact is, the older my kids get, the less time I have to spend on my blog.
BUT I did read some wonderful books in March and April, and I’m here to share one with you! One international reader will get to pick one of the following books. (Winner gets to choose either a physical or digital copy.) Hands down, my favorite book of the bunch is Railhead, followed closely by two other 5-star books, Borderline and Every Heart a Doorway. Which one would you choose? (Click on the titles to read my reviews)
Railhead by Philip Reeve
Borderline by Mishell Baker
Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
The Brotherhood of the Wheel by R.S. Belcher
Fellside by M.R. Carey
Masks and Shadows by Stephanie Burgis
The Days of Tao by Wesley Chu
first communions by Geoffrey Girard
Down With the Shine by Kate Karyus Quinn

thank you a lot for this opportunity to win it!
arf i didn’t write teh title properly but you know which oen i meant^^;; ( too tired sorry)
I think that’s a pretty decent amount of reviews for two months, to be honest. Writing full reviews takes time so don’t feel bad! I’m totally torn on which book I’d pick from the ones you’ve listed as there are so many good ones. Possibly ‘Every Heart a Doorway’ because I still haven’t managed to read any Seanan McGuire. (I have ‘Fellside’ on order from my library or it would totally be that <3)

Heh… Well you managed more reviews than I can do in a good two months for me. Am I a legit book blogger? Maybe not. Recently I’ve paired down most of my non review posts just out of lack of time, so completely understand the real life prioritzation. I’m hoping to make time to read Borderline 🙂

Railhead and Masks and Shadows look good to me. Thanks!

Every Heart a Doorway, Masks and Shadows. Thanks for the giveaway!
Railhead would be my first choice and Borderline, second. Thanks!!
Borderline! I definitely want to read it after all the great things I’ve heard about it here and at other SF&F blogs. 🙂
Down with the Shine 🙂
Every Heart a Doorway seems very interesting 🙂
Borderline is on my TBR list but the others are interesting too!
Every Heart A Doorway looks really good to me. Thanks for having the giveaway.
Masks and Shadows by Stephanie Burgis
I have the same feeling when I go back and count up how many reviews I’ve written since the beginning of the year too. Lots of real life stuff going on that caused blogging and reading to take a backseat. Hoping to get a little more free time in the coming months. I hope you find a bit more free time too!

Oh, in what way?
My kids are still at that young stage where they are with me all the time, either at home or accompanying me around town on errands, but it’s true, the older my oldest gets the busier I seem to become with her activities, like preschool stuff, birthday parties, appointments, etc. and I’m sure the soccer matches and band practices aren’t far behind. I’d love to get to Borderline later this month, if I manage to get ahead of my reading schedule. And I’m really intrigued by Railhead!

Railhead looks good, thank you.
I’d like The Days of Tao.
I wouldn’t feel bad about how much you’ve reviewed in two months. Looks like plenty to me and really to be a book blogger, you just gotta blog about books. There’s no post minimum for entry. 😀
I always look up the books you review and some of them catch my attention as well like Borderline by Mishell Baker and Masks and Shadows by Stephanie Burgis. Thank you for your amazing reviews and for the giveaway 🙂
I’m reading FELLSIDE right now, but a close second is Mishell Baker’s BORDERLINE.
First Communions xounds interesting. By the way, I botched the rafflecopter. I follow by email videoclimber@yahoo.com…..sorry I hot the wrong button on my phone before the form was filled in.
Oh thanks for letting me know, sometimes Rafflecopter can be a pain!
Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire has been getting nice reviews. I’m envious of y’all who has all read it. So many books, so little time 🙁
Well – you’ve still read plenty from what I can see. Plus, it’s not just the reading is it – these are review books and reviews don’t write themselves after all! I noticed that since blogging my reading is less per month but that’s because of the time spent on the blog. Anyway, your family come first and when life gets busy you read less.
I loved Every Heart a Doorway – I thought it was brilliant.
Lynn 😀
Every Heart a Doorway! I’d been looking forward to reading reviews for this, and when I finally did, that was when I first realized it was a novella and not actually a novel XD
I think I’d like Brotherhood of the Wheel or Down With the Shine. Not sure though, I’d have to make a final decision later. Thanks
Down with the Shine looked so pretty. 🙂
Railhead sounds really good to me. I like science fiction and fantasy. I think that I will like the characters and storyline in this book.
The Brotherhood of the Wheel by R.S. Belcher looks like a good read.
Thanks for the giveaway! Down With the Shine is a book I have been wanting since I have seen reviews popping up for it. 🙂
Railhead looks very interesting.
Every Heart a Doorway. I’m a fan of her urban fantasy and a portal fantasy fan so yes, please. 🙂
I think Borderline looks brilliant!
