Waiting on Wednesday [221] – STAR’S END by Cassandra Rose Clarke

sci-fi-month

Welcome to my first Sci-Fi Month Waiting on Wednesday! Join me each Wednesday in November as I highlight some of my highly anticipated science fiction novels of 2017! I’m starting with an awesome book that I’m SUPER excited about:

stars-endA new space opera about a young woman who must face the truth about her father’s past from critically acclaimed author Cassandra Rose Clarke.

The Corominas family owns a small planet system, which consists of one gaseous planet and four terraformed moons, nicknamed the Four Sisters. Phillip Coromina, the patriarch of the family, earned his wealth through a manufacturing company he started as a young man and is preparing his eldest daughter, Esme, to take over the company when he dies.

When Esme comes of age and begins to take over the business, she gradually discovers the reach of her father’s company, the sinister aspects of its work with alien DNA, and the shocking betrayal that estranged her three half-sisters from their father. After a lifetime of following her father’s orders, Esme must decide if she should agree to his dying wish of assembling her sisters for a last goodbye or face her role in her family’s tragic undoing.

Star’s End by Cassandra Rose Clarke. Releases in March 2017 from Saga Press. Clarke is one of my very favorite authors, and I was thrilled to find she has a new book coming out in a few months! The blurb seems a little vague to me, but if it’s anything like her other books, I suspect there is a lot more to the story than the publishers are telling us. In any case, I will read anything she writes!

Let me know what you’re waiting on! And don’t forget to follow the #RRSciFiMonth hashtag to see other Sci Fi Month posts:-D

  1. Ohh! I’ve read her The Assassin’s Curse duology and really loved it. Can’t wait to see what this new one of hers will bring 😀

  2. I still can’t believe I haven’t read any Cassandra Rose Clarke seeing as I seem to have heard a lot about her all over the blogosphere!

  3. I also haven’t read this author yet – I’ll keep my eye on your review for this one – perhaps it could be the starting point.
    Lynn 😀
