Ready for something dark? This upcoming Tor.com title is about the dark side of bullying, and even though it doesn’t come out until next March, I thought it would be a good WoW pick for the first Wednesday in October. Check it out:

Chalk by Paul Cornell. Releases in March 2017 from Tor.com. I’ve never read Paul Cornell before, but his Shadow Police series is one I’ve been meaning to read for a while. Chalk sounds very creepy, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!

Wow. This does sounds good and hey, we don’t get many books set in WV so I’m interested to check it out if only for that reason alone!

Wow, this one does sound interesting. And creepy. Interesting time period + subject matter. Have also been interested in reading his Shadow Police series just have never gotten around to it. 🙂

I’m very curious about this. I’ve tried his book London Falling and it was quite enjoyable, but the mixed reviews for his first tor.com novella Witches of Lychford made me kind of hesitant to try it. This one has an interesting subject matter though, I might not be able ot resist.
