So it’s been a while, yeah? I missed the last two WoWs due to having an extremely nasty strain of flu, and during that time (I hate to say this) I actually enjoyed my time away from blogging. As in, I didn’t feel the urge to blog AT ALL. Which scares me, because this blog has been an important part of my life for nearly five years. But I’m jumping back in, testing the waters, so to speak, to see if the spark is still there. Only time will tell, I guess! But in the meantime, here is a book that sounds like a bunch of fun:

Labyrinth Lost (Brooklyn Brujas #1) by Zoraida Córdova. Releases in September 2016 from Sourcebooks. I love the Day of the Dead vibe going on here, and the story sounds like just my thing. (Whatever “my thing” is right now, I’m honestly not sure what that is!) I haven’t read Córdova’s Vicious Deep series, but I know lots of readers who have enjoyed it.

Labyrinth Lost is on my radar, too. I met Zoraida last year at the Boston Teen Author Festival (and bought the first Vicious Deep book, which I still haven’t read yet but will at some point). But she was very friendly when she signed my copy. Enjoy!

Glad you are feeling better and maybe time away from the blog was just what you needed. Good to have you back and hope you’re 100%. I don’t think that having a little break is a bad thing – gives you a chance to sit back and look at things – it can take over a little this whole blogging thing can’t it!
