Book Review Giveaway – Win a Book I Reviewed in November

BRG 11-15

Welcome to my monthly Book Review Giveaway, where you have the chance to win one of the books I reviewed the previous month! I only reviewed seven books last month, but among those were a couple of 5-star reviews, and both of those made my top ten list this year! As long as The Book Depository ships to your country, you’re eligible to enter. First, congratulations to last month’s winner:

Chelsea B. selected Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

And now, on to the books I reviewed last month. My favorite book of the month? Definitely The Girl With Ghost Eyes, but I also adored Six-Gun Snow White and Radiance (it was a month full of Catherynne M. Valente!) Here’s what you could win if your name is randomly selected (click on the titles to read my reviews):

five stars

The Girl With Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson

Six-Gun Snow White by Catherynne M. Valente

four and a half

Radiance by Catherynne M. Valente

Congratulations to Chelsea. I’ve put several of these on my want list but, yeah, The Girl With Ghost Eyes sounds terrific.

  2. I read What She Knew in November and really enjoyed it. The author wrote really well, and the book was thrilled. At one point, I wanted to stop reading – not because the book wasn’t good, but because I’d gotten so attached to the characters, I was afraid the ending was going to be sad and/or something bad was going to happen. To be able to get the reader so emotionally invested takes real skill.

I’ve been reading T Frohock most recently. I like Diago in both Los Nefilim novelas. Before that I inhaled Fifth Season by Nora Jenison. I tried to win The Girl with the Ghost Eyes on Goodreads – to no avail – maybe I’ll have better luck here!

  4. I read Six Gun Snow White when it was still self pubbed (or sub-press subbed I am guessing is more accurate). Wouldn’t mind my own copy.

I didn’t read any new releases in November sadly. My reread of The Heroes by Abercombie was pretty good though.

Radiance looks very interesting! My favorite books in November were the Tao trilogy! Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win!

  6. Girl with Ghost Eyes was so entertaining! I’m glad I got myself a copy 😛 I also have Six-gun Snow White upcoming — can’t wait to dive into that one, too!

I LOVED The Girl with Ghost Eyes. I’ve read it twice now and it’s been wonderful both times! I’m currently reading Six-Gun Snow White and Radiance is on my list. 😀
