Book Review Giveaway – Win a Book I Reviewed in September!

BRG Oct 2015 button

Welcome to my monthly giveaway, where I recap all the books I reviewed the previous month, and offer one reader the chance to win one of them. OK, so September was a TERRIBLE month for me review-wise. Not in the quality of books I read, but in the QUANTITY. I had too much real life stuff going on in September (and in October for that matter) to really have time to read. So as a book review blogger, reading and reviewing only five books is very disappointing to me. However, there are some excellent choices this month, and most of what I did read I would recommend without hesitation.

Before I get started, please congratulate last month’s winner:

Marian P. chose Nightwise by R.S. Belcher

As long as The Book Depository ships to your country, you are welcome to participate. There’s something for everyone this month! Some adult, some young adult, some fantasy, horror and science fiction. Here is what one winner will get to choose from (click on the book titles to read my reviews):

five stars

Dragon Coast by Greg van Eekhout

four and a half

The Weight of Feathers by Anna-Marie McLemore

four stars

Supersymmetry by David Walton

The Aeronaut’s Windlass by Jim Butcher

three and a half

Blood and Salt by Kim Liggett

My favorite book in September was Pirate’s Alley by Suzanne Johnson. I’d love to win a copy of The Aeronaut’s Windlass by Jim Butcher. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I read The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making in September and loved it – so cute! Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win!

  3. I hope your reviewing for the next month is just as wonderful as this month seems to have been! If I had to choose I would have to go for The Weight of Feathers – magical realism just sounds so wonderful.

Illusions of Fate was my favorite from last month! Released last year, but I just now read it *grin*

Also, the form says to leave a comment for June reviews, but the links above are for September reviews. I just want to make sure I’m entering correctly! 😀

Hey Chelsea, thanks for noticing that! I changed it to “September,” you did everything right!

  6. I really enjoyed Blood and Salt! It wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, and it wasn’t as creepy as I had hoped, but it was really good!

It was a tie between Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas.
    Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
