Share the Love Giveaway Hop! Meet Some Debut Authors

Share the love 2015

I’m participating for the second time in the Share the Love Giveaway Hop, hosted by The Herd Hops! The point of this hop is to shine a light on some of your favorite authors or bloggers, and although at first I thought it would be fun to highlight some of the blogs that I visit on a regular basis, that just turned out to be too hard. I have so many blogs that I love, that I didn’t want to leave anyone out:-D SO, instead, I’ve decided to give a shout-out to some debut authors that you may not be familiar with, authors whose books I would love to put in your hands! (Of course, if you’re a regular reader, you have probably heard me talk about these five before). One winner will be randomly selected, and that person will have their choice of any book from this post. Ready to see who I’d like for you to get to know better?

COURTNEY ALAMEDA

Courtney Alameda’s debut Shutter just came out this past week from Feiwel & Friends, and I was lucky enough to pick up an ARC at Comic Con last summer. It was AMAZING, and it’s already one of my favorite debuts of 2015! You can visit Courtney at her website here, and read my review of Shutter here.

FRED VENTURINI

I read Fred Venturini’s debut last year, The Heart Does Not Grow Back, and loved it. It was gritty and violent and extremely well written. I cannot wait to see what he comes up with next! You can catch Fred on his website here, and read my review of The Heart Does Not Grow Back here.

JAMIE SCHULTZ

Jamie Schultz’s debut Premonitions is the start of a new urban fantasy series, and I gobbled it up! The second book in the series, Splintered, comes out this summer, but in the meantime you really should catch up on the first book. You can visit Jamie on his website here, and check out my review of Premonitions here.

KRISTI CHARISH

I had such fun with Kristi Charish’s debut Owl and the Japanese Circus! Owl is an unusual protagonist, to say the least, and I think you’ll enjoy her as much as I did. The second book in the series comes out this summer, and I’m really looking forward to it! You can catch Kristi on her website here, and read my review of Owl and the Japanese Circus here.

ELIZABETH MAY

I was literally giddy after I finished reading The Falconer, and I’m thrilled that Elizabeth May’s follow-up will be out…eventually! I know it comes out in the UK first, and I don’t think there is a U.S. pub date yet, but believe me, I’ll be first on board when it comes out here:-D You can visit Elizabeth at her website here, and read my review of The Falconer here.

All of these are on my TBR list! I think I’d go with Shutter though. I’ve been psyched about it the longest!

  2. BookLady

Great book choices! If I won I would pick either Owl and the Japanese Circus or Premonitions. Thanks for the great giveaway.

I’m not sure because i liked either Courtney Alameda’s Shutter and The Falconer too. They seemed to be cool.

Oh man, these all look really good… I’d pick between The Falconer, Premonitions, Shutter, and Owl. Basically, zero clue 😛 If I win, I’ll probably have one picked at random and go with that 🙂

  5. Diane Elizabeth

They all sound like great reads, but I think my choice would be The Falconer. Thanks for the chance.
